About this Cook
I like cooking but I get bummed when it doesn't come out. I'm trying to cook more adventuresly. My husband will eat and enjoys most anything so I have a good audience. Our baby girl's just starting on solids food so hopefully she will love my cookin too. Dinner time is important to me and I love making it a family affair. I'm also a big sweetoholic and love baking cookies. I love food, making it and when someone else makes it for me. My favorites are when my best friend cooks Dominican, my sister makes pesto, my brother Thai, and my mom's everything, esp. Strawberry cake.
My favorite things to cook
Lasagna! It is fattening and kinda pricey to make but I love it. And it's my go to dish. I love drinking wine too while Im making it and dipping fresh bread into the sauce. Add a big salad and it's the best! I reallly love cooking while drinking wine...is that bad? Aloe making homemade pizza is another favorite of mine, and we always do it on Fridays/movie night which makes it more fun!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom always cooked growing up. We all ate dinner together so that's a big deal to me. And she always made us our favorite cake on our birthdays.
My cooking triumphs
I made chicken and dumplings last st. Pattys day and it came out delish. It was a lot of work and I was pretty proud of myself. My husbands Irish so he was especially thrilled. It went great with guiness too!
My cooking tragedies
Ughhh too many to list...recently quesadillas..not sure what happened. The chicken was bland the beans under cooked and the tortillas tasted like metal. It was not fun. My husband still ate it, he's a good man.

Suki's Spinach and Feta Pasta
This recipe is wonderful! It is so easy to make too and I love how the olive oil and tomatoes keep it juicy. Made it for my whole family and they loved it!

Sausage Balls
I thought these were great! I followed the recipe and the recommendations of another user baking them on parchment paper. I baked them 25-30 minutes and were delish!
