Mom got me started in cooking when I was about 9 or 10 when she went to work.
My favorite things to cook
Pot Roast with veggies in a dutch oven, slow cooked on top of the stove. Simmered low over many hours, sometimes and long as 5 hours or more.
I also do pork spare ribs, browned then cooked on the stove top in a large covered skillet with a little liquid. No kitchen heat in summer months.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Stuffed Cabbage, stuffed peppers, Hungarian Goulash.

Following recipes too closely and not experimenting. All recipes are meant to be altered, except baking!
