Just thought I'd tell people about the leftovers from the Turkey Burgers.

So, I had a few burgers left, and put them in the fridge.  Next day, I pulled a couple out for lunch -- one for me, one for my wife.  I microwaved them, but before putting them in, I poured a little teryaki marinade on them, which gave them a nice flavor.

Rather than use a bun, I took some of the head of iceberg I use for sandwiches and such, and placed a slice of tomato in a leaf, put a little fat free mayo on the tomato, then sprinkled a little bit of chipotle chile pepper I have in my spices.  On top of that I placed the reheated turkey burger, and then I put a dab of dijon mustard on and closed the lettuce leaf over the whole thing.  WOW!!!! That was BETTER than the burger I had the night before!  Next time I grill these things, I'm going to brush some teryaki marinade on as they grill, and will go bunless!

Sounds really good! I've yet to try your recipe with my ground chicken - but I will be soon. We're planning a final camping trip of the year if the weather cooperates this weekend. I think I'll take everything to make them then... I'll take along my teriyaki marinade sounds like.

My favorite food is soup -- any kind of soup really, I have yet to find one I wouldn't eat! Soup is easy and you can always tweak a recipe for personal tastes by simply mixing up the spices or adding some things. And a good bowl of warm soup is just great on a chilly day! I also enjoy grilling (what man doesn't?), and if there is a way to cook it on a grill, either I have tried it, or I am willing to give it a go!
