Baby Back Ribs

After making this my partner said he wanted all of his ribs in the slow cooker first. We'll be doing this recipe, and making our own, from now on!

Avocado Pie

My bf, who loves avocados, was a little apprehensive. But after tasting the mixture he couldn't wait to eat the chilled pie. I purchased individual crusts and filled those. I used most of the mix. Topped with banana and strawberry, this dessert was a huge hit!

Sweet and Sour Beetroot

Sherry Sour Cream Chicken

Roasted Beets and Sauteed Beet Greens

These are wonderful! The first time I did just as the recipe says. The second time I cut the beets into small chunks, and sauted them with the greens and such. They were on the crunchy side, which was a nice texture change. We'll be doing these often, as we grow beets and love using all of the plant.

Pork with Mushroom Dijon Sauce

The sauce tasted a lot like a strogonoff recipe I found on the site. It was very good, still, and I sent it to work with my boyfriend for lunch. We had it over rice, with mashed turnips.

Steamed Radishes

This was great! I have a steamer that didn't quite want to work that night, so I did it over the stove. I'll add my own seasoning next time. And there will definitly be a next time!

Patty's Mashed Turnips

These were fantastic! We harvested turnips from our own garden and couldn't figure out what to do with them. I have made this recipe a few times now. Some with mashed potatoes some not. This is definitly going to be a new staple in our dinner plans.

Pork Chop Casserole

This was absolutely awesome! Served with green beans. No one spoke the entire meal, and I'll definitly be making this again! I omitted the green peppers, simply cause I didn't have any, but I'll try it with them next time.

Tuna Noodle Casserole II

This was good, I did alter the recipe a bit. I added dried minced onion, and put a small layer of mozzerella cheese on top (really yummy). My boyfriend, who was aprehensive about tuna casserole went back for seconds!

Cheesy Acorn Squash

This was fantastic! I opted to bake my squash instead of microwave it, 15 minutes did the trick. Then I opted out of the celery, not a fan myself. Next time I'll double the saute however, as I used big squash. I'll definitly make this again!

Spaghetti Squash I

This was fantastic! The recipie only made half the squash, so I just saved the other. My boyfriend asked for it for lunch the next day! I will definitly be purchasing more squash in the future, and makeing this again!

Rice and Chicken Casserole

I did alter the recipe a bit, but it was fantastic! I used a package of Broccoli Chedder rice instead of plain white rice. I forgot, not opted out of the onions, but will probably add some minced next time. I only had to cook it for an hour and a half. My boyfriend asked for it for lunch the next day. YES!

Chinese Pork Chops

These chops were fantastic! Easy and delicious. We ate them with home grown grilled squash. They were just as good as left overs a couple nights later. I will definitly be keeping this in my recipe box.

Snappy Green Beans

I made this with home grown green beans, right off the plant. They were fantastic! All around winner. I've made them a few times. Only thing I don't like is every time they've come out a little greasy. But not enough to deter people to try it.

Garlic Red Potatoes

I didn't realize I was out of lemon juice until I went to add it. So I cooked them without. They were good, but I'll definitly use the lemon next time. And I'm definitly cooking this again!
