Fluffy Pancakes

The perfect at home mix. My husband loved them and he is a bit of a pancake snob. I also added chocolate chips and banana and the base still held up very well. We will definitely use this recipe as our go to pancake mix.

Cranberry Sauce

Never made cranberry but this recipe was easy and delicious. The sauce had a wonderful texture. I gave this recipe 4 stars because because I thought it tasted very orange juicy. I ended up adding some cinnamon and brown sugar to change the flavor a bit. I think next time i will cut the orange juice with water.

Rich Turkey Gravy

Fantastic! I had never made gravy before and this recipe seemed easy enough. It turned a fantastic color and had a wonderful flavor, it was a huge hit on the dinner the table. The only change i made was instead of using bouillon I used the turkey stock I made from boiling off the gizzards(livers excluded). I would definitely make this again.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Delicious, made a few of the recommendations like using the chicken stock to cook the veggies and chicken. I also added a ton more veggies, 1/2c corn, 1/2c lima beans and 2 red potatoes. I also added garlic, thyme and sage to the liquid to give it some flavor.

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

I made this recipe almost exactly as stated with a few minor exchanges to make it a bit healthier - ground turkey instead of beef and ground fiber one cereal instead of bread crumbs, and it was delicious. I would have given it 5 stars but i thought it could have used some more flavor perhaps it was because i didnt use the flavored bread crumbs. I added extra spices to compensate but maybe i didnt add enough.

Barbeque Pork Two Ways

I recently made this recipe with a few changes based on the other reviews. Since I threw this together before before work for the sake of time I left the pork whole, fat side up. When I got home from work, I literally peeled the fat layer off (gross i know) and just stirred it with a wooden spoon and it literally fell apart. After breaking the pork apart I turned the cooker to high with the lid off to allow the sauce thicken up a bit. I also used 1/2 ketchup and 1/2 BBQ sauce and about 1tbsp of honey to give it that extra bbq flavor. I had seen other pulled pork recipes that added either chicken stock or beer so I opted for a bottle of beer to add some more liquid. My boyfriend who loves bbq wished it had more of a smokey bbq flavor so next time I may use a different bbq sauce and maybe add some paprika to give it that flavor. All and all the I thought the recipe came out great.
