Garlic and Basil Vinaigrette

I made this per the directions but I only had the cheap kind of parmesan--it still came out wonderful and so fragrant! I took it to a potluck and my salad was the only thing wiped out in minutes. Thank you so much.

Slow Cooker Spicy Black-Eyed Peas

I decided to make this in the pressure cooker because I didn't have the time to wait. I put in the beans with some onion and some beef chunks (we don't eat pork). When the beans were soft, I just added the garlic and spices and let it cook on the stove top for a while. We left out the peppers since we don't like spice. The beans are really flavorful and soft. I guess I found the shortcut method!

Ginger-Touched Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

I read all the reviews and took those into consideration before starting. I cut the candied ginger to 1/2 cup and the salt to half, but left the rest the same. I used a jelly roll pan to spread out the dough and made bars with it. They were fabulous. Very light, but chewy and great flavor. My kids won't touch, so more for me!!!

Baked Potato Soup

This is a fabulous recipe! It was so tasty and reminded me of eating in an upscale restaurant. I used full cream, but otherwise kept to the recipe. Very yummy.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IX

I was craving oatmeal raisin cookies and made these. I was disappointed. They turned out really dry (fall apart in your hands) and not very flavorful. I won't make it again. Back to full fat! Sorry.

Yogurt-Marinated Salmon Fillets (Dahi Machhali Masaledar)

I had already stuck some salmon in a bag with some ginger and garlic with a little olive oil when I came across this recipe. I whipped it up and added it to the bag. The flavor of this fish was just wonderful. Not too strong, just even taste and goodness. I will definately try it again.
