Soft Garlic Breadsticks

Very soft and tender breadsticks! These were the perfect texture, but the garlic was too much for us. I prepared these by mixing the water, sugar, yeast in a bowl for 10 minutes, then added the remaining ingredients and kneaded for 6-8 minutes. Lightly oil the dough and place in a bowl to rise for about an hour. Then continue on as it states to make the bread sticks and then rise again until doubled. I did not bake more than 14 minutes. I will be making these again without the basil and garlic to please the palates of those in my household. Thanks for a winner!

Apple Pie

This is the gold standard for apple pie. It was my first attempt at a homemade fruit pie and it tasted wonderful EXACTLY AS WRITTEN! The only trick I used was to make sure the apples were at room temperature before placing in the crust. This helped minimize soupiness. Great taste! I will be making again and again. Anyone know if there is an Apple Pie Eaters Anonymous group? I think I may need one!

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

This tastes very authentic! I added green onions and some chicken for a complete meal. It is a great recipe and allows me to use low-sodium products and still taste like takeout!

Applesauce Oatie Cookies

I made this recipe, but did use 1 1/2 cups raisins instead of raisins, chocolate chips, and nuts. They turned out delicious! A keeper!

Beef or Chicken Marinade

Love it! I have searched for a tasty marinade that is not too soy-flavored and not too sweet--this fits the bill. I had to substitute dehydrated onion for the green onion and apple cider vinegar for the white vinegar. It was fantastic--a definite keeper! And the chicken seemed so moist and tender.
