Favorite Fish Chowder

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2011
Being from New Hampshire myself, I decided to try this recipe. New Englanders are known for our chowdahs, as one reviewer said. This chowder was "WICKED" AWESOME! I decided to try a little to see if it needed tweeking...and ended up eating a whole bowl! It's perfect. I used fresh haddock which stayed nice and chunky. Served with fresh homemade bread, it was delicious! I will be making this a lot. My husband LOVED it too. Thank you Fran!!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2011
This was my first attempt at bread making. It was unbelievable how easy it was to make! I used my KitchenAid with the hook attachment so I went by other's recommendations to knead for five minutes. My husband thought the bread was EXCELLENT. I also cut the sugar amount to 1/3c. I will make this many times in the future! It's a keeper. Thank you for sharing!

Pork Roast with Tangy Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
I usually don't deviate from the original ingredients because it wouldn't be fair to rate the recipe, however, this time I didn't have the apple jelly and I had a pork roast to cook. New Englanders always have maple syrup on hand, so I replaced the apple jelly with maple syrup.....IT WAS delicious!! I used apple cider vinegar also. I will try the apple jelly also, but now this option will be used many times in the future!!

Blueberry Pound Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
This was delicious! It was very moist! I was going to make a vanilla or lemon sauce to go with it but my husband didn't want to wait for me to make it. He says this recipe is a keeper.
