I have used a recipe similiar to this. We spoon the fruit salad into individual plastic punch cups and freeze. Easy peasy.

Easy/check Delish/check 5 star rating/check I arranged these in a Christmas tree shape as I was serving Christmas Eve. Brushed them w/melted butter when done and sprinkled with a mixture of parmesan cheese, italian seasoning and garlic powder. Yummy!

My Grandma's Shoo-Fly Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2011
I have never made Shoo-fly pie before but several of us in our family love it. I used a dark molasses and it tasted strong. Next time, from other friends' suggestions, I'm going to try a lighter molasses. But the goo and the crumbs were the perfect proportion. I would recommend this recipe to anyone.

My Navy Bean Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
I liked this soup but next time I will use ham. Did not care for bacon's texture after sitting in broth and I did fry it crispy. I used chicken stock I had made by cooking the chicken, chunks of celery and onion. I then removed all of that for a wonderful tasting broth. To that broth, I added the pre-soaked navy beans and the carrots chopped. Very good soup.

Emily's Famous Marshmallows

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
I made these for Easter and dipped them in mint milk chocolate. Delicious!!! They were not difficult to make and everyone enjoyed them. My daughter likes to put them in the freezer for awhile before eating. Someone said, "why would you make marshmallows?" Just like trying something new/different. They were a success!

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
I have made this several times. The last time I made it I gave some to my my daughter, my sister and her daughter. They loved it as much as I do. They all want the recipe. It is a low cal recipe but I made it even more so by using ground turkey. I also used brown rice, but you do have to precook this a little before adding to the cabbage. A great, easy recipe.

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
I have been making these whoopie pies (gobs) for years. The shortening filling is the traditional filling, at least in central PA. My family loves these!

Onion Rings

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
I am late in reviewing these. But when I saw they were not getting rave reviews, I had to put in my two cents. We made these last summer for a family get together and EVERYONE raved about them.
