Never Bitter Lemonade

Yes, it's not bitter. It's also not lemony. Next time, I'll try adding considerably more lemon juice, possibly cut the sugar a little. I think the salt might be helpful but everything was overwhelmingly sweet, in my opinion, and lacked lemon.

Peanutty Green Beans

Unless you really love peanut butter (and I mean like my puppy!) and really DON'T like the taste of green beans, you will probably not like this as is. You might as well just get out a jar of peanut butter and shove the green beans in it. It overwhelmed any other ingredients. I added more soy sauce, I added more miso paste, I then tries resorting to tons of fresh grated ginger, then cayenne, but I did not care for this recipe. Maybe it's just me but....

Chocolate Pecan Pie II

FANTASTIC but with one change. I browned the butter and let it cool while I assembled the rest and preheated the oven. Browned butter makes everything taste better and this was no exception! Wonderful pie! Use your largest, deepest pie plate for this one or it will overflow!!

All American Roast Beef

I made only one change - When I roast anything in my oven, it is in an unglazed Romertopf clay pot. EVERYTHING roasts better in that. I have a medium sized one and a large one that can handle duck or small turkeys. I highly recommend them! Great recipe!

Not difficult to make if you are comfortable with phyllo dough but too grainy for my taste. I will be trying another recipe next time, one with more eggs and milk and less farina, I think, would be better.
