Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2012
I made this dip for a small get together I was having and it got rave reviews! Everyone kept asking what I did "different" because it was BETTER than the other Buffalo Chicken Dips they have had! I mixed all of the ingredients as stated (used Blue Cheese instead of Ranch) and transferred it to a small crock pot--it held up wonderfully!

BLT Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2012
This is such a delicious, refreshing dip. I make it for all of my get-togethers and everyone loves it! I use Oscar Meyer real bacon bits and I mix the tomato right in with everything and let it set for a few hours. Serve with crackers or bagel chips!

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2012
OMG! One word...AMAZING!! I took these to a work function and just about everyone asked me for the recipe! I used regular and mint oreos and nutter butter cookies in this recipe.

Coffee Cooler

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2012
Make this even lower calorie by using unsweetened vanilla almond milk in place of skim (only 40 cal per cup), 2T of PB2 (powdered chocolate peanut butter, low cal and delicious!), and splenda in place of the sugar. I use a frozen banana (cut in half). Try it. You will be pleasantly surprised!!

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2012
I made this for my two teens and my son's teenage friend for the first day of school breakfast. We all agreed it was delicious! I used french bread and a few were a little soggy but the flavor was outstanding! Next time I will buy the texas toast type bread. Looking forward to making this again!

Souvlaki

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2012
My family and I really enjoyed this. The marinade is fabulous and as my daughter was helping me skewer she kept saying it smelled so good she wanted to lick her hands!! (LOL) I made this on the grill and we ate it with warm pita and tzuziki sauce--AMAZING!!

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2012
Ok, I don't believe I am going to say this....but this was WAY too much chocolate!! Don't get me wrong, it isn't horrible and I can see how other people absolutely loved it but it was just too much for me (and even my kids!) and it was definitely too sweet.

Yia Yia's Tzatziki Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2012
This was so delicious! I made it a day ahead to have with warm pita and the Souvlaki recipe from this site, but it was so good that we ate it with meatloaf the same night I made it! Luckily, there is still enough left for the Souvlaki!! I only made a couple alterations. I didn't add olive oil, I only used about 8 oz of Greek yogurt (that's all I had) and about 1 1/2 t of dill weed. Even my kids, who are suspect to "new" foods, LOVED this! Thank you!!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Shooters

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2012
This was delicious! I thought it tasted too good to be just a shot so I made it into a cocktail. It does taste just like a chocolate covered cherry! If you like these, try the Strawberry Shortcake Drink on this site...to die for!

Candied Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
I had bought fresh sweet potatoes and was searching for a recipe that I could use for them. When I found this one I thought it sounded very easy and tasty but I didn't have any OJ! I looked around my kitchen for a substitute and decided to use Diet Root Beer instead. Boy, am I glad I did! I also added some cinnamon and when they were cooked and plated, I threw on a dollop of marshmallow fluff (it melts over the hot potatoes) and YUM! I only gave 4 stars because of the changes I made--but these were delicious!! My boyfriend ate just about the entire pot!

Cool Whip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
These were so delicious! I love lemon flavored anything and these were perfect! They stay moist, which I really liked. EXTREMELY fast and easy to make. Dough (even when refrigerated) does get sticky...I would recommend using flour as others have. I will the next time I make them. Thanks for the great recipe!!

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
This was a really great way to cook my rib roast. Mine was only 2 1/2 lbs so I decreased cooking time as others recommended. I rubbed it with an assortment of spices and it was such a great Christmas dinner for me and my boyfriend!

Easy BEEF Enchiladas

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
These were excellent--only giving 4 stars because of the changes I made. I used 2 lbs cooked ground beef and added 2 packets of taco seasoning. I didn't use the soup ( I didn't have it) but the filling came out delicious with the rest of the ingredients! My teenage daughter was eating it directly out of the pan! I used whole wheat tortillas and poured enchillada sauce over them and topped with more shredded cheese and then garnished with a slice of jalepeno. There were NO leftovers!!

Easy Deviled Chicken

This will definitely be a regular in my household! It was very easy to prepare and it was absolutely delicious! Next time I will crush the stuffing mix though!! UPDATE: Made again last night but I used dijon mustard and crushed up Club crackers with some garlic, and a sweet ginger seasoning. SO GOOD!

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
OMG...these were SO AWESOME!!! I was a little hesitant when I first heard about these. But my family and I love green veggies so I thought I'd give it a shot. Boy am I glad I did!! These did not last long at all...they were gone in a flash. My 13 and 15 yr olds LOVED them, which surprised me because my 13 yr old can be very picky. My hubby, who said "I don't know about these" was heard in the kitchen crunching on seconds and thirds!! I used a buttery "Pam" spray and sprinkled some garlic herb seasoning and a little salt on them. Wow, I am craving them right now!!

Bob's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
These were AWESOME!! I made these for friends we had over the other night and between four of us we ate 36 of these suckers!! I didn't use onion--just to save me a little time (but will use it next time to taste the difference). I used canned lump crab meat (2-6oz. cans), mixed my mozzarella right into the crab/breadcrumb mixture and poured one cup of butter over mushrooms before cooking. Incredibly easy and amazingly delicious I will be making these again soon!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2010
For the effort, I thought this was just an "okay" recipe. I used frozen strawberries instead of fresh (cheaper!) and strawberry preserves (my family are strawberry junkies!!). My kids thought this was pretty good though.
