About this Cook
Over the past 10 years, I have learned new recipes and tried new things in the kitchen, and now I have evolved into a pretty good cook. It is also something I really enjoy doing, especially when I have time, and am not rushing.
My favorite things to cook
I don't really have a favorite thing, it really depends on what it is we are in the mood for.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Since I am middle eastern, one of my favorite foods during holidays and special occasions is Taboulli.
My cooking triumphs
Cooking for Thanksgiving.
My cooking tragedies
I was making Tacos for dinner with some friends, and I got everything except for the taco seasoning. I decided I would experiment. Well, I went a little heavy with Lawry's seasoning salt and everyone noticed and couldn't eat the tacos. I caught a lot of grief for that! :)

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole
This recipe was great! It was very simple, and it tasted great. It was my first time to prepare this dish, and everyone loved it. I added cinnamon, and a little bit of nutmeg.

Hudson's Baked Tilapia with Dill Sauce
This dish was very easy to make, and it tasted great. I did not make the dill sauce... I am trying to stay pretty healthy! I am sure it was great.

Broccoli with Lemon Butter Sauce
I really liked this recipe, I didn't add as much butter or cayenne required. This way of cooking broccoli is a nice change from the normal everyday salt and pepper.
