Great stuff!! As many suggested, I roasted the squash and it made it very easy. I roasted a large yam instead of using white potato. For those that didn't, or wouldn't add celery in the future because of the texture in the smooth soup, use a vegetable peeler down the back of the stalk to remove the stringy "veins" and you won't have a problem. Also, if you use white pepper, you won't have black specks in the pretty yellow soup. After blending this to a velvety texture and tasting, I agree it was a tad bland. I added cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and ginger which improved it considerably. The best thing about this is that it is so healthy and good! Thank you!
