Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
This is a great recipe that I've made as is several times now. I've used boneless chops and bone in chops and both work great. I'm not a big wine drinker so we typically just buy the screwtop cheap white wine for the recipe and it seems to work great. I have recommended this recipe to family and friends.

Zesty Beef Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
This was the first roast that I've ever made and it was delicious and very tender! I followed the recipe as is--only adding carrots to roast at the end of the cook time. I think the key to keep it from drying out is to baste it frequently, like the recipe says. Next time, I'll probably up the amount of horseradish that I use during cooking, just to add a bit more kick. The gravy is really flavorful.

White Beans and Peppers

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
Very flavorful recipe! Now that I've made the recipe per the instructions, I might try to change it up a bit per my personal tastes. Some ideas would be to add an additional type of pepper--maybe a hotter one or just green pepper? I prefer only a hint of oregano flavor, so a pinch was more than enough. One other option might be to add some minced garlic in the skillet with the onions and pepper. As is, the recipe is a winner and tasty. Have fun trying different spice blends geared towards your tastes. I did pack the extras in my lunch the next day and it reheats up very well in the microwave, which is an additional bonus! Thanks for sharing!

Rae's Vegetarian Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2010
This is the best tasting vegetarian chili I've ever had. It is full of flavor and I really enjoyed how the flavors meshed together. The only tweeking I did was to omit the pinto beans and that was only because I forgot to buy them. Next time, I may half the olive oil as I think I can get away with just 1 Tablespoon.

Make Ahead Lunch Wraps

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
This is a GREAT recipe. I cut the cheese in half to save on fat and price. I've added leftover chicken when I pull them out of the freezer and top with salsa. But these provide a hearty, delicious, and economical lunch. Thanks for sharing!
