Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2012
This bread recipe was amazing! This is my new go to recipe for my bread maker. The only substitute I made was unbleached flour in place of the bread flour.

Asian Style Country Ribs

Reviewed: May 31, 2012
This was hands down an amazing recipe! I doubled the marinade because one recipe didn't seem like enough. I didn't have enough soy sauce to double that portion and we could still taste a hint of it. It probably cut down on the salty taste some others had commented on. I also did not drain the marinade. I served it with the Asian Coconut Rice recipe on this site and stir fried veggies! It's a dinner that has made it onto our monthly rotation!

Chicken with Peas and Quinoa

Reviewed: May 20, 2012
This recipe was a very nice quick and easy throw together kind of meal. I wasn't overly thrilled with it and wish I would have added some garlic. My 3 young children however ate it, and two of them are picky! It's healthy, easy, and budget friendly. I'll be keeping this one for future use.

Tanya's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2011
These were hands down the best snickerdoodles I have made! I didn't use the almond extract or cream of tarter b/c I didn't have either one. I also accidently used baking powder instead of the soda. I don't think it affected the flavor. Def. will be making again!

Mongolian Beef and Spring Onions

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
This recipe was amazing! We personally didn't find it too sweet or salty. The only changes I made were a dash of crushed red pepper flakes, ground ginger in place of fresh, white onions b/c I didn't have green and thin cuts of round steak in place of flank b/c I wanted to use what I had. I followed the recipe exactly and it tasted great! Kids and hubby agree this recipe is a keeper:)

Perfect! These cookies are the best! The only substitution I had to make was the vinegar for the tartar. I will def. be keeping this one in my box! Thanks!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
Awesome bread! I was a little apprehensive since it didn't have any cinnamon or usual spices but this bread is so good we didn't even miss them! I followed the recipe as is except instead of 2 chopped bananas I added 3 mashed. I also doubled the recipe and baked in a tube pan at about 1 hour 20 min. Thanks for such a great recipe!

The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
I was curious about the idea of using oil so I thought I would give this recipe a try. I changed the recipe some such as omitting the white sugar and almond extract. And instead of vegetable oil I used coconut oil. I also used whole wheat flour and added walnuts. They turned out amazing! Thanks for sharing- I would have never thought to use oil!

Pickled Red Beet Eggs

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2009
We haven't tasted these yet-but have a batch in the fridge. They look and smell delicious. The only problem I had was that there was not near enough juice to cover the eggs/beets/onions. I had to triple the juice recipe. Can't wait to try them in a few days!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
This bread was awesome. We loved the taste. I have never made loaf bread before and I have tried this recipe once. It came out a little dense-but I attribute that to the fact that it was my first time. I plan to keep trying till the texture is as perfect as the taste. I did do as other reviewers mentioned and used only 1/3 cup sugar. Came out perfectly sweet. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Vanilla Cupcake

Reviewed: May 8, 2008
This recipe was great. It also was very quick and easy. To add fluffiness like a cupcake I added a tsp. of baking powder and a little milk to loosen the batter. I also tried them with whole wheat flour and they were a tasty treat.
