Bodacious Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
Awesome! My husband is not a huge fan of cheese so I reduced the amount and it was still amazing.

Chicken Cheese Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
Very good, can be a vegetable soup too. I followed other suggestions and use more potato. I used chicken tenderloins which were great for this recipe. I spiced up the chicken with black and red pepper which added a good taste to the chowder. I will absolutely make again!

Citrus Turkey Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
Extremely easy, great taste, and tender! I made the recipe as listed and the turkey came out to perfection. However, 2 tbsp of corn starch did not yield a gravy. The juices were still watery but still delicious on the sliced turkey. Also, I would probably place sliced lemons/limes or oranges into the crockpot to add more zest to the flavor. Another review said too much garlic - I disagree, it was a nice addition to the overall flavor.

Indian Rice (Pulao)

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
I definitely made only a variation of this recipe due to not having many of the required ingredients. I simply wanted something to spice up the rice. I used jasmine rice (1 C); chopped onion (1/2 med onion); 1/2 tsp. each of cinnamon, cumin, garlic powder, and ginger. It was very good and I will use it again and again. The flavor was just enough to spice up the plain rice.

Easy Indian Style Okra

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
This recipe was nothing like any Indian okra dish I have ever had. And it was definitely slimy which is hard to get past. The flavor was still good but it was not my favorite, I will probably look for something else.

Indian Chicken Curry II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
Added 1 potato, chopped into small pieces. Used whole can of coconut milk. Use at least 3.5 tbsp Curry powder. I served the curry with a variation of Indian Rice (Pulao) - also on this site. Rice was made with 1 C. jasmine rice, 1/2 small onion chopped, 1/2 tsp each of garlic powder, cinnamon powder, ginger, and cumin.

Drop Biscuits and Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
Great recipe. I used 1/2 lb of Jimmy Dean sausage which adds more flavor than plain ground pork. I also used another reviewer's suggestion and used 2 cups of water for more gravy. Its so good that I don't have to go to a restaurant anymore for sausage biscuits!

Zesty Coleslaw

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
Too much mayo/miracle whip. Suggest doubling the amount of cabbage or halfing the mayo. Otherwise, it was delicious.
