Chicken In Sour Cream
The 'convenience' of packaged soups ruined this dish. Even when I doubled the amount of chicken it called for, it was too, too salty. Making my own quick mushroom sauce and half a packet of the onion soup makes the dish at least edible. I've never said this here before, but I won't use this recipe again.

Individual Baked Eggs
How did I get to be older than dirt without having ever had a baked egg??? I baked these in buttered ramekins (2 eggs in each), cheese on top, and used Kirkland brand real bacon bits (it's what we had) on top of the cheese. We baked a couple small russets, split and mashed them a little with a fork, put on some garlicky sauteed spinach (takes 5 minutes while the eggs are baking) and slipped 2 eggs onto each bed of spinach. It was divine. The DH thought I was nuts when i originally told him I was making these, now he requests them, often!

Homemade Buttercrunch Candy
My family has used this recipe for over 30 years. DO NOT USE MARGARINE!!! It may be cheaper but it's even less healthy (transfats), and tastes like dooky. As far as the recipes using 1/2 c of butter? If you look, they make less candy and the texture is not at all the same. Way too hard.
