About this Cook
What a shame. In the last 8 years I've had so many email addresses and login ID's that I can't figure out how to fix the fact that my scan ware deleted the cookies for Allrecipes. So now I have to start over. It may not be a totaly bad thing. Now I can concentrate on giving accurate info wherever I can.
My favorite things to cook
I cook a lot of chicken breasts, white, lean pork, little red meat or burger. I try to stay low carb and I need to concentrate on low cholestrol diets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom's Choclate Chip Cookies and her Mac & Cheese, Dad's Chili, White Bean Soup, Potato Bacon Corn Chowder, Shrimp cooked on the Barbie wrapped in bacon with water chestnuts. Yeh, dad loved to cook.
My cooking tragedies
Spinach Lasagna with Sand, Birthday cake with icing made with granulated sugar-how could I be so dumb?

Baked Pork Chops I
were great. More than I could eat in one sitting. These were family portion 1/2 inch center cut chops. Glad I tried this recipe.

Pork Roast with Sauerkraut and Kielbasa
Very Good and certainly hit the spot. The pork roasts were too big for just me and loins too expensive so I went with 3 thick cut pork loin chops and put them one on top of the other in the center. Also cooked everything on the stove in a dutch oven over very low heat for 4 hours. Worked out well.

Baked Shrimp with Feta and Tomato
It tastes good, but I wish I'd have read the reviews before I started. I would have cooked the shrimp less. I didn't get any Orzo, but I put it over Jasmine rice, and it was just fine. Served it with Stouffer's creamed spinach. Oh, I cooked it at 350 for 10 minutes and then broiled for 5 more minutes. I also had sprinkled a little Parmasan cheese on it before cooking. The feta did brown after all.
