About this Cook
I never really cooked much when I was growing up so when I got married I was kind of thrown into cooking for my hubby. I think over the years I have become a great cook. I love to try new things. I like to create new receipes.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts and Main Dishes
My favorite family cooking traditions
Lots of different desserts and pies for thanksgiving.
My cooking triumphs
I made a parmesan chicken once that was so amazing. I didn't want it to end. My husband and I were both in heaven. I topped it off with some yummy garlic bread.
My cooking tragedies
I found a receipe for Manderin Chicken and it turned out just awful. Niether my husband or I could finish eating it. It was so bad that the dog wouldn't eat it. :)

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy
This recipe is soooo good and so easy. I changed a couple things but kept it mostly the same. I had some italian bread crumbs that was mixed with parmesan cheese that needed to be use so I added that instead of just the bread crumbs(1/4 c.). I also didn't have any sherry so I left that out and I used elk burger. The hubby loved it too. Definite keeper.

Pressure Cooker Teriyaki Chicken
This did not turn out well at all. The sauce burned in the bottom of the pan. (I suspected it would with that amount of sugar.) I didn't cook it the full time and the chicken was dry. This may be good if it was baked but is hard to say I wasn't able to taste sauce.
