Crepes

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
I used rice milk and needed about 1/4 more milk to get the batter to the right consistency but it turned out great!

Lemony Chicken Pasta Toss

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
This was a great sauce! Lots of room for variation. I thought it needed some veges so I julienned and lightly fried some squash and also some chickpeas before using the pan for the sauce. My 19 month old really enjoyed it. Also think it was good with an extra squeeze of fresh lemon over the finished dish for added zing. Will make again.

Pizza Dough III

Excellent. Easy. I divided into two balls of dough and made one a thin crust and one a regular crust. Very tasty!

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
So easy to make or store the dough for later. Very good looking cookies. I made a few with three mini chocolate chips and it was also very cute. Next time I will try with a little less white sugar and definitely with unsweetened peanut butter.

Delicious Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
It was a bit heavy, salty and dry, even after adding broth. I don't think casseroles are my thing.

Egg Salad Sandwiches

Really rich and flavorful. I felt like I was eating garlic cream cheese spread. I will definitely make this again.

Best Ever Split Pea

I think this is my new comfort food. I served this with brown and white rice on the side and it was really hearty and warming together. I liked it.

Cilantro-Lime Dressing

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
I love this dressing and love the after taste even more! There was something that tasted bitter though that I couldn't identify. I also blended in a quarter of a red onion and loved it.

Mango Gazpacho

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2009
Creative and fun use of mango! I think it would be awesome on some kind of fresh wrap. The mango is such a great base. It almost tastes like a dairy or cream base! Love the basil- it leaves a wonderful after taste. I wonder, how could I thicken it up a bit? It was a little watery. But I enjoyed this very much!

Romaine and Mandarin Orange Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
5 stars - this recipe worked even though I subbed EVERYTHING based on supply! sesame seeds for poppy, grapeseed oil for vegetable, oranges for mandarins, rice vinegar for apple, etc.... But loved it!

Cabbage Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
Turned out to have a nice deep flavor. At first it seemed like there wouldn't be enough water for the vegetable ratio but the vegetables shrunk a bit. I didn't know what spices to throw in to really get it flavorful. I added a little garlic and pepper. Next time I might throw in a few pasta noodles. Was very hearty and traditional.

Chile Garlic BBQ Salmon

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
I made this for my husband and parents-in-law and got their compliments on flavor and tenderness of the salmon. I cooked it in a toaster oven instead of grill and it turned out great.

Angel Hair Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
Wonderful, fresh dish (considering I didn't have shrimp or ranch dressing.) I used bleu cheese dressing and it still tasted great.

Orange Mango Chicken

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
I loved the mango sauce! I didn't have any ground ginger but did a quick substitution with instant ginger tea that dissolved into the sauce. Served it over rice with a little cilantro garnish. Can't wait to make it again! Thanks!
