Original Homemade Italian Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2013
The family LOVED this...including three small-ish kids! I only used the 2 packets of seasoning and just used about 1/3 jar of the pepperoncini juice (only). I sauteed onion, red peppers and green peppers to serve on top. Being a vegetarian, I was the only one not to enjoy it!!

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2012
This was delicious! The only change I made was to saute the onion and garlic in coconut oil. Next time, I think I will only use 1 cup vegetable broth and 1/2 cup water so it's not quite as salty. This definitely satisfies...can't wait to reheat some for lunch tomorrow!

Frozen Summer Slush

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2010
This was great and relatively easy to make. I used 2 1/2 cups of gin, cut the sugar back to 1 1/2 cups and mixed with diet 7-Up. Yummy on a hot day!

Classic Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
I used the Fast Chicken Soup Base and this was excellent! I didn't use the peas or thyme, but I did use a bay leaf. My husband and kids LOVED it! I'm a vegetarian, so I used the same recipe with vegetable broth and the Quorn brand chicken tenders and that was great too!

The Ultimate Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
I am a vegetarian and this is so delicious made veg-style! Instead of the ground beef I used Morningstar Farms Veggie Crumbles. I sauteed the crumbles with onion and garlic. I also added some summer squash and used kidney, black and chili beans. Since I have kids and they don't like spicy things, I only used 1 tbs chili powder and that was plenty. No one else in my family is a vegetarian, but you cannot tell that real "beef" isn't used. Thanks for the great recipe!
