About this Cook
I'm an artist and a lover of food. I love trying new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love chicken dishes and anything with noodles and cheese! I'm very interested in desserts, although I'm going to try not to cook them too often because I know I'll EAT them.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Comfort Food. My dad's buttermilk pie, etc..
My cooking triumphs
I think I've finally gotten the right balance of spices and zest for my mother's "Rainy Day Tomato Noodles" and it's been a family favorite for a long time.
My cooking tragedies
None that deserve mentioning, so far. :)

Chicken Pot Pie I
A nicely simple concept and easily altered to taste. I prefer less carrots and peas, so I put in frozen broccoli and cauliflower instead. Also I love Cream of Celery soup so I combined half a can of that with the Cream of Chicken soup. I mixed all that together in a bowl and added a healthy dose of black pepper. It's fabulous and easy to make. Also, I shred my chicken instead of dicing it. Makes it smoother to mix with the soup.

Spinach Basil Pesto
A really delicious and easy recipe. I poured the entire batch over cooked cheese ravioli I bought frozen at the store. It KILLED at my house. Many thumbs up.

Fabulously tasty and easy to make. Me and my two roommates ate the entire pan in less than half an hour.
