About this Cook
I am a mom Of 3 kids a wife of a picky eater and a Woman who adores cooking for her family and anyone willing to eat what I cook. I am a better cook than I will ever admit. I love cooking simple but very flavorful food and especiallt treats. Cooking for Bible studies and kids every week is something that makes me very happy. I am always willing to try a new recipe too. ;)
My favorite things to cook
I love making all sorts of versions of cake mix cookies... They are super easy and super yummy. This last year I got a cook book full of only cake mix cookies. I like traditional and easy. Simple yet tasty. Oriental, Mexican, seafood, Pasta, and I adore Baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Letting the whole family in on it. My favorite night is homemade taco night. Everyone takes part in it. Started in my family and is being done in my own home with my husband and kids now. Super fun. Also Making Christmas cookies and treats for people.
My cooking triumphs
I took a Cake decorating class. I have made 8 cakes and am looking forward to more. They are really fun, Alot of work and tasty too... I love making my kids the cakes of their dreams. I love making the character they choose. It is nice not to have to go from store to store looking for the certain cake that would be perfect you know?
My cooking tragedies
i am an expert at burning the water ( The pan ) . I also have made some sad attempts without the recipe and just a memory. LOL Doesn't always work.

Cheeseburger Wontons
Made these for my family tonight. Added seasoning to the meat and for my kids served it with ketchup on side. Extremely easy and satisfying. I did change one thing more. I wrapped the wontons then brushed them with oil. baked in the oven for 5-8 minutes on 400F less grease and less hands on time for my family off 7.

Maple Salmon
I made this recipe today for Lunch. We really enjoyed it. I did omit the Garlic salt.I lined my baking dish in foil and then placed the lid over the top. For the last few minutes I broiled the salmon. I loved the hint of maple . It was very scrumptious! Thank you for the new recipe!

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham
I made this for some company last Christmas and have been asked to make it again. I even had a small taste and nearly melted at the flavor it held. Just try it and you will see how absolutely yummy it is!!! (I followed the recipe Exactly)
