Ham and Noodle Casserole
Good, basic recipe. **Changes: Sauteed 1/3 of an onion in butter, then added 2 garlic cloves and sauteed a minute or two more. We don't like onion to overpower....and love garlic (which we didn't even taste) Used macaroni noodles and threw about a cup of the 4 cups that I cooked; knowing it would have left the dish too dry (using 4 cups) Added 1/2 cup sharp cheddar, (1 1/2 c swiss per recipe) and about 1/2 cup peas (just our taste). 1/2 cup milk and Cream of Chicken soup- not mushroom. Used Italian bread crumbs mixed with melted butter and some fresh shredded parm--my go to! It was a quick, easy, tasty dish! ;)

Asian Marinated Pork Chops
Made 7 bone-in chops. Marinated in refrigerator for 1 1/2 hours. Followed recipe minus the chili paste. Used about 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper instead of it. Baked WITH THE marinade at 350, covered (loosely) with foil for 25 min, turned chops, baked another 30 minutes, covered. Took foil off, added 2 tsp cornstarch and stirred in. Baked at 400 for 10 more minutes. Served with fried rice (w/ peas and carrots) and steamed broccoli (with crushed garlic croutons and fresh grated parmesan cheese) Perfect!!!

Better Than Sex Cake II
Great! Used several of the modifications that I read. ie: let cake cool, then poked holes into cake with handle of wooden spoon not quite all the way to bottom. Drizzled 1 can sweetened condensed milk alternating with caramel over top of cake. (I did not warm them first) Sprinkled liberally with candy pieces, then let cool completely. Spread whipped topping over all. Then drizzledd with more caramel, Hershey's chocolate and sprinkled more candy pieces. Refrigerated for a couple of hours before serving.
