Ground Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
Good Recipe but I defnately had to change it a little bit. I used less mayo than called for, but quite a bit more sour cream. It was also a lot more thin than i Like my stroganoff sauce so I added half of a can of ready-to-eat cream of mushroom soup. It was kind of bland so I added extra garlic powder & dry mustard & also added paprika, salt & pepper. Added celery for an extra crunch. With the changes, it was delicious!!

Tuna Snack Spread

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
Soo good! I was looking for a dip/spread to make with tuna and cream cheese and found this... Exactly what I wad craving! I read other reviews and took the advice and used two cans of tuna... If only used one I think the cream cheese would be too over-powering! Delicious and easy to make!

Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
I used 3/4cup smooth and 3/4cup chunky peanut butter. I also made half with chocolate chips. I read the suggestions from others and reduced baking time to 10 minutes, and they were still a bit crispy. They tasted delicious!!! But I like my cookies chewy.

Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
Very easy to make! Kita (Our 1 and a half year old Husky/Wolf) loved them! And so did all of her puppy friends. Makes ALOT, I got 72 small-medium sized cookies and 10 large cookies out of one batch! We topped off half of the cookies with a carob chip, which Kita liked even more. Next time, I will make puppy icing and put some on top for an extra treat!

Whipped Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
This recipe was a good start for something that could be great. ( I double the recipe) I took the advice of others and whipped butter for 5 minutes by itself, then added icing sugar and whipped for another 5 minutes. I then added flour one cup at a time, and whipped for about 3 minutes after each cup. I added 2 tsp's of Pure Vanilla extract. I also added about 3/4cup more flour to make the cookies easier to shape. ANOTHER THING---15+ minutes is waaay too long! I baked them for about 8 minutes and they were perfect! For the topping, I switched it up a bit and put some with cherries, some with sprinkles, some with raspberry jam and some with nutella!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
Very Good Recipe, although made a few changes. Instead of cooking rice in a saucepan, I used my rice cooker to cook it and Voila, perfectly cooked rice. When adding the milk, sugar and rice I used 1 3/4 cup of milk instead. I took the advice of others and whisked the egg and milk together and adding a bit of the hot rice, then slowly added into the rest of the rice. I tasted a little bit, it was a little bland so I added about 1/3 cup more sugar and about 1/4tsp of cinnamon and cooked a bit longer. Tastes delicious now!

Deviled Eggs I

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2008
I added a bit more mayo to the mixture, also added a little bit of salt and pepper for flavor. I sprinkled the paprika on at the end. I've had better deviled eggs, but they satisfied my craving!
