this is by far the best banana bread i've ever made or possibly even had. it is a lot of work but it is definitely worth it! my family is always so excited when i make it. followed the recipe as is and made a simple glaze for the top and it was fantastic.

Garlic Kale

very tasty! the garlic and olive oil are perfect complements to the kale and really bring out the flavor. i did grind a little garlic sea salt into it and everyone loved it. even my three year old ate it up!

Madeleines II

this is such a fantastic and easy recipe. have already made these several times! my little boy loves to help. i took the advice of some of the reviewers and liberally buttered and floured the madeleine pan and had no problem removing them from the pan. another thing i've done the past two times i've baked them was used lemon extract (1/4 tsp. extract = 1/2 tsp. zest) because i didn't have any lemons on hand. the zest is better if you have the lemons and time but the extract still makes for tasty madeleines and they still don't last long around here!

Blueberry Corn Muffins

what a great alternative blueberry muffin recipe. my husband and i have been watching what we eat and i wanted to try something that would be easy to grab on the way out of the house in the morning...and also to have as a snack! perfect! the muffins were sweet and soooft and the amount of blueberries were perfect. will be making this often!

Easy Salsa Meatloaf

this was the first meatloaf i've ever made and i was so happy with it. i followed the recipe as is...only i didn't have any garlic cloves so i substituted the garlic powder equivalent. was so tender and tastey...my husband loved it, too!

Easy Chocolate Mousse

This was good, but it tasted too much like Jell-O brand pudding. I wouldn't recommend this mousse if you're wanting to impress. However, it is a good every day family dessert and is great with fruit!

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

FANTASTIC! I did what others said and added 2 cups of brn. sugar and 1 cup of peanut butter instead. and I really can't believe this was my first time making fudge and it turned out! Very excited about this recipe!!!

The Best Pound Cake

Even after leaving the cake in the oven twenty minutes longer than the recipe called for, the middle still didn't cook all the way through! Followed the recipe to a T but i guess i did do something wrong cause it was pretty much a disaster. Also, the lemon taste was way too profound. If i'd ever try this cake again, i'd put in half the lemon extract if any.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

My husband loves these! He keeps mentioning how fluffy they are! The first time I made them, they were a bit too salty, so I didn't add the salt this time around. This time, I added a tsp. of vanilla, a total of 2 tsp. sugar, and a total of 2 tbsp. baking powder and they turned out perfect.

Sage Pork Chops

We really enjoyed this recipe, I just wish I could have given it some time to marinade because the flavor was a bit lacking. Definitely worth making again, though! Only next time, I may add some seasoning salt and let it marinate for a bit longer!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

loved this recipes because it was simple and easy to modify. i added a cup of raisins and a cup of chopped walnuts. these cookies are so soft and chewy. i've already made them three times and they've been a hit every time!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

i brought these to a luncheon and they were a huge hit ! i, personally, wasn't crazy about these cookies. they weren't as chewy as i expected. they were soft, though. next time i'll probably add more chocolate chips.

Simple Potato Salad

I made this recipe for a Fourth of July barbecue. As a finishing touch, I crumbled some bacon over the top of it and mixed it in. It was a hit, and people were even asking if they could bring some home. :)
