Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
Even accidentally adding the cinnamon, sugar, and butter (the filling) to the breadmaker to incorporate into the dough didn't ruin these! I did another batch of filling before I finished them per the actual directions and topped with icing. Still incredibly wonderful - smelled, tasted, and looked great! The boyfriend and I both gave them 5 stars

Cappuccino Chip Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
Came out looking pretty. The chocolate chips were pretty much undetectable. It tastes okay but I probably won't make it again. Did taste pretty good when I made it into french bread.

Cake Balls

Make some last night with a boxed strawberry cake mix that has lived in the pantry forever... Cake failed to rise but tastes great as cake balls (chocolate icing w/ almond bark covering)!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
Very, very good! In my crockpot on low it only too about 10hours for a 6.5lb shoulder with bone-in. Also, I substituted regular coarse kosher salt for the sea salt. The family loved it and we'll be making this again soon!

Honey Orange Basil Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
Great flavor! I sub'd orange concentrate for the juice and zest & fresh basil instead of dried but still great! Very moist. Favorable reviews from the whole family - We'll be having this again soon!

Peanut Butter Bread I

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
Made today - I really liked it but the boyfriend said it didn't taste peanut-buttery enough for him. Definitely doesn't scream peanuts but still very good. I used crunchy peanut butter and enjoyed the "surprise" each time I got one of the nut pieces in a bite.

Broccoli Beef II

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
Really good & everyone got seconds! I thought it was a bit too salty but might have been from using regular soy instead of low sodium -Everyone else thought it was just right so maybe I was being hypercritical. I can't think of anything else that needed fixin'! Great!

Great recipe- came out with wonderful flavor! Was slightly dry (but might be due more to cut of meat?) Would highly recommend!

Loved how nicely they came out! Much more like a crepe than the pancakes I'm used to but still a wonderful experience. Oh, fast and easy too!
