This recipe takes the ordinary french toast to extraordinary. I did as the fellow reviewer did and added a pinch of baking powder and a couple shacks of nutmeg. Totally delicious!! The nutmeg adds a kick to it. Also the first two slices of toast I did were not as fluffy as I liked, but then I realized it was because I was not letting them soak enough. All I needed to do was let them soak for a couple more second and that did the trick, came out more fluffy and thick, which made it amazing!
