I enjoy taking gourmet cooking couses in Bellevue WA. I have recently started baking, but love to cook and create my own recipies. I love to travel the world and take pictures of my adventures!
My favorite things to cook
I love gourmet asian food like Nobu, Geisha House etc. so I have been trying new dishes like miso glazed smoked black cod and different types of sushi. Asian is my favorite because the presentation is amazing, like a work of art. I also enjoy making all of the different sauces from scratch like tataki, ponzu, etc.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family never really cooked when I was growing so I think I have a very open mind on all different cooking techniques.
My cooking triumphs
I love having dinner guests and try different themes every time. From sashimi, to smoked ribs and brisket, to homemade pastas, I try it all! I like to have at least 5 courses...
My cooking tragedies
I hate it when food is bland and does not have enough flavor. There have been a few time where Ive had to re work recipies to add more flavor and personal flair.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf
I have never been a meatloaf fan, but when it was requested one night I decided to use this recipe. Wow, did it change my mind! This was delicious! I have made it many times already!

Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Blue Cheese-Chive Butter
The blue cheese chive butter is excellent. Way better than just blue cheese alone and it melts better on the meat with the butter mixed in. I will make this again.
