Growing up with really only my mom, I learned to cook at a young age. I love cooking with my mom. Mostly Southern style cooking, but as I got older my interests changed. I still love to cook Southern food but I have started cooking Cajun, which has gone over big time in my family, since they have a love of spicy and mildly spicy food. I love to bake when I have the time. The family loves it when it is Fried Chicken night, I have to get my husband to stand at the door of the kitchen just to keep everyone out. Even the neighbors love to come over on Chicken night. The frequently ask me for my recipe (which I won't give them) or they ask me to come over to cook for them, lol! I once made up a horrid recipe which sounded great at first but turned out to be awful, even the dogs wouldn't eat it!! It was something along the lines of a green bean mix infused with lemon juice and oh my was it horrid, lol.
