Autumn Apple Salad II

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2011
This was very creamy and good. I am eating it right now! I had some leftover apples and mandarin oranges from a grilled chicken salad I made last night so I used those. I used a bag of dried mixed berries, so it was cranberries, cherries and blueberries. I did not have any nuts so I just threw in some grapenuts to give it a crunch and then vanilla yogurt and I think it came out great. I will make this a lot during the summer.

Baked Pancakes with Sausages

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
I love the idea of this recipe, but the pancake part tasted like corn muffins instead of pancakes. I will make this again, but use a different pancake batter. When I made this, I used my perfect brownie pan, and it was so easy to drop crumpled cooked sausage into each section and they came out beautiful. Can't wait to try again using a different batter.

Baked Oatmeal II

This was okay. I still prefer regular oatmeal that is more moist than this. If you like drier oatmeal, then this is a good recipe for that.

Very rich and delicious! I didn't have the romano or mozzarella or the artichockes but it was still good. I can't wait to make it again when I will have all the ingredients.

Chicken Piccata

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
this was delicious! At first I was a little worried b/c it looked kind of bland and like there was not much sauce. So, I added exra wine and a teaspoon of capers and half a can of quartered articoke hearts. I served the chicken on angel hair pasta. Instead of pounding out the breasts, I just cut them in half and they were so tender. I will be making this over and over.

Salsa Chicken

This was pretty good. I think next time I make it, I will use less taco seasoning and mild salsa. It was a little too spicy for me.

Best lasagna I have ever eaten! I followed recipe exactly. I can't believe how great the cottage cheese tasted in the lasagna. So much better than ricotta.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2010
Delicious! I loved this. It was rich and creamy and tasted so great on top of pasta. If I had had some garlic bread to go with it, it would have been perfect. But seriously, this is like a meal ordered at a fancy restaurant. After I started making it, I found out my hubby didn't like spinach, so he didn't like it.....but me and my 11-month-old sure did like it. She loved the chicken.

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2010
This is super yummy. My husband raves about it everytime. What I do is cooke it without the chips on the bottom and then when I serve it, I crush chips onto the plates and put the casserole on top. That way the chips are fresh and crisp. I put extra sourcream too.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
Awesome! I usually do not like beef stew that great unless it comes from a can, but this was so good. Even my picky hubby told me it was good. I followed recipe almost exactly except I used garlic powder in place of garlic clove, canned taters instead of peeling and cutting them up myself and left out celery b/c not a big fan of. My meat was still half frozen so I cooked on high for about 3 hours and then cooked for another 5 hours on low. Sauce was thickened perfectly. Delish!
