These are delicious and I also made them healthy for my family..added extra zucchini, extra chopped apples and a banana to these and made them into muffins..baked at 340 for 20 mins. YUM!

Easy Pizza Sauce II

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
I have made this sauce just as the recipe states or added a tiny bit of sugar and it tastes good either way. SO cheap to make and tastes just like the stuff you pay $1.50 a can for at the store.

Martha's Cornbread Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
This recipe was fantastic! Very cheap to make too, since I used up leftover cornbread and biscuits to make it. I scled the recipe to make 5 servings (still put it in a 9x13 pan and it yielded about 8 servings for us) I didn't make a chicken, I just combined the other ingredients, put it in a 9x13 pan and poured 1 can of chicken broth over the top of it. I baked it at 350 for 1 hour - delicious!

Applesauce

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
This is an great tasting easy applesauce recipe! I used fresh golden delicious apples from the orchard, halved the amount of sugar and used a little less water than what was called for and it turned out perfect. Cooked it for 3-4 hours in the crockpot on high heat and mashed most of it with a potato masher which left some chunks in it. Delicious!

Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
This seemed to have too much butter in it. It did not set up well and was running off the cupcakes. Maybe it is user error but I would use half as much butter next time.

Buttery Bubble Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
I have made this bread countless times (got my original recipe when it first ran in Taste of Home magazine years ago), it is absolutely delicious and always turns out wonderful! My husband gets SO excited when I make this, it is his favorite! We have a smaller household, so I halve all the ingredients and bake the bread in a 8 in. loaf pan (which doesn't bake to the top) or two mini loaf pans. It always turns out delicious.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2013
Loved these fries! I only used 1 tbsp oil for 3 potatoes but tripled the spices, so fries ended up being lower in fat and delicious. I do agree with other reviewers - 450 is too hot, baked at 400 for 30-35 mins. instead. The thinner you cut the fries the crunchier they turn out - yum!

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2012
I have made these twice now and they are a really quick and yummy snack. The taste reminds me of a chewy granola bar but a little more sweet. I am planning on varying this recipe some next time I make it, perhaps some mini chocolate chips or craisins instead of raisins?

Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
This was picky husband approved so you know it is good! Will put in my regular rotation as the flavor is good but I still feel like it is missing something..may add some dijon mustard next time to give it an extra kick. Overall a great dump and go recipe. Also love that it is inexpensive to make.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars II

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
These are always a hit, wherever I take them! I omit the brown sugar and use 3 cups of powdered sugar instead, and add 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs (as suggested by another reviewer- thank you) Otherwise they are way too soft. I sometimes use a combo of milk chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips to cover the top or all milk chocolate chips. Scrumptious!!!

Margaret's Southern Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
This pie is absolutely delicious! I love how it uses inexpensive ingredients that I already have in my pantry. The chocolate taste is just right, not too sweet and not too bitter either. Everyone who tasted this pie raved about it! I did not prepare the meringue topping, just topped it with whipped cream instead. Highly recommend!

Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 8, 2012
Like many others was sooo skeptical about trying this recipe but so glad I did! The seasoned chicken and cottage cheese combo made a delicious filling for enchiladas. I made this with flour tortillas, making sure to put a thin layer of enchilada sauce on the bottom of the 9x13 pan and dipped the tortillas in enchilada sauce before filling and rolling them up. Would definitely make again!

Instead of applesauce I actually just make baked apples with this recipe. Delicious!

Chocolate Zucchini Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
I was worried I overbaked this cake since the edges were quite a ways from the side of the pan when cooled, however this cake was SO moist and yummy! It reminded me of a cake-like version of zucchini brownies. Will definitely be making again!

Oven Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
These oven-baked eggs turned out perfect! I made two pans for an Easter brunch, one 9x13 as directed and the second was a half recipe baked in an 8x8 pan with shredded cheese on top. I was a little worried because they had to sit about 15 mins before serving while the biscuits baked (the recipe says serve immediately), I just covered the pans with foil and they tasted great and the consistency was perfect. Will definitely make again!

Raspberry Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
These are delicious but I wish I would have added a bit of sugar to the fresh raspberries I added, they were tart and so the muffins didn't taste as sweet as I would like.

Ham and Beans

I have made this twice and it always turns out delicious. I use 2 cans great northern beans instead of the dried beans..it is a wonderful way to use up leftover spiral sliced ham!
