Chocolate Chip Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I made it just as it was written...delicious! Yes, the chocolate chips sink to the bottom but that's okay...it looked like I layered it that way on purpose! It looks impressive and tasted better...but very very rich! You need coffee or a big glass of milk for this one.

Creamiest Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
You have to use a crockpot! It was so easy! 4 hours cooking on high, then added the egg mixture. be sure to mix it very well before letting it cook for an additional 15 minutes! I've never been able to make it THIS GOOD! It was a huge hit at our Thansgiving Day table!

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
Very good....but very sweet! Next time I would definately cut down the butter to 3/4 C. and the sugar to 1 C.

Cream Puff Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I made 2 cream puff PIES instead of making one in a 9 x 13 pan. With the addition of the chocolate icing added to the cream puff crust, it did indeed taste like a cream puff! I used Sanders Hot fudge topping as the chocolate icing and drizzeled it on top of the whip cream and it was perfect...not too sweet, nice and light! It was a Thanksgiving favorite among many other pies this year!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
This is my favorite salad recipe from this site so far!! I substitute 1/4 C. of splenda for the sugar and it comes out delicious! I actually double the recipe for the dressing sometimes and keep it on hand for all my lettuce salads! Adding grilled chicken makes this a great meal in itself!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
I'm fairly new to this site and couldn't resist baking something with such a high rating! (I don't even like bananas!!) I made the recipe just as it is written except I made 12 regular cupcake sized muffins and they were delicious! I am a huge baker and had never baked banana muffins or banana anything for that matter. My kids loved them and asked for them again and again. I'd much rather give them homemade treats with ingredients I know than anything store bought! I've now made these several times and given them to neighbors and grandparents...everyone loves these. They definately deserve all the fan fair!!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2008
I followed the directions suggested for baking without a bread machine and they were fantastic. I've made them 3 times already and everyone loves them! One of my all time favorite recipes from here!!!
