About this Cook
Well I have always loved to cook. I think that my love really started off when I was in high school and my family was relocating. I was staying with my dad who needed for me to cook for him. I don't think that I made an impression right off, but over the years I improved. My brothers soon began to make fun of me when I cooked because I would ask my now famous phrase, "Do you like it? Really? Is it the best you have ever had?" I will never be able to live it down. Now every time I say something is good they always ask me if it is the BEST I HAVE EVER HAD.
My favorite things to cook
I will try to cook anything at least once, but my favorites are what I am most comfortable with which are usually good old fashion country cooking. Pot roast, meat loaf, casseroles, etc...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well of course Thanksgiving and Christmas.
My cooking triumphs
Last years Christmas dinner.

Snickerdoodle Cake I
Very good! I also added a layer of the sugar and cinnamon to the middle of the batter as well.

Heavenly White Cake
The cake turned out fine, but wasn't too much to brag about.

Simple White Cake
I thought this was a great simple white cake :) I did add the extra 1/4 cup of milk, beat the butter and sugar for 9 minutes, sifted the dry ingredients 2 times, and mixed each step for about 2-3 minutes and it turned out great.
