Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
Very good recipe! I added more bananas, 4...also added vanilla and a small amount of white sugar and a dash of cinnamon. When they were out of the oil, I sprinkled with powder sugar...YUM! My whole family loved them...

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2007
it was very good...a bit of an orangy flavor to the blueberries. Not your typical cobbler, but it was very good.

These were great! I used turkey breast strips that I cooked in a pan with some onion and pepper. Then I also added shredded cheddar cheese. My whole family raved about them! They are quick and easy... and VERY tasty!

Lemon Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2003
Wow-- what can I say, but that this cake is excellent! Great tasting and SO moist, it almost melts in your mouth! For anyone who loves lemon cake, this is it... I followed the directions exactly, but next time I will add some grated lemon zest for a tangy twist! Also, I made a powdered sugar glaze with vanilla and water and drizzled it over the top. My whole family loved it! I will be making this one again, and again.. I would highly recommend it!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2003
I have reviewed this before, but felt the need to do so again... In the last two weeks I've made this for two separate gatherings... I have given out the recipe probably, 20 times since then! It is SO good! It is so nice and light for a summer get together... it is just perfect! Plus I always double the recipe since my family also loves it! We just devour it! I highly recommend trying it! You'll love it too, I am sure!

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2003
Very tasty! My whole family enjoyed it... it was a bit oily, you may reduce the amount of olive oil, but still it was fine. I will deffinitely make this one again! It's a keeper... Oh, and I used fresh green beans, I steamed them until tenderly crisp beforehand...

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2003
These were VERY good, and oh so quick and easy to prepare! I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and also served it with salsa, sour cream and homemade gaucamole on the side for toppings. It was very well received by my whole family. I will be making this dish again and again...

Clemons Family Bean Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2003
Outstanding! I had this at a friends football party (she took it off of this site) and I've made it twice since. The only thing that I've altered is that instead of using ground beef, I use chorizo sausage (Mexican sausage found in your stores' meat counter), it is just SO much more flavorful that ground beef, and perfect for a "Mexican" style dip! It is SO very good! My husband loves it! We ate the whole thing in one sitting... I highly recommend it!

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2002
I must be the only looney, according to the other reviews, but both my husband and I thought this was a loser! No taste... We love cabbage rolls, and I normally make them, so I thought I'd try this to make it easier... no dice, no comparison, as far as we are concerned! There is no flavor! Just sort of bland.. blah! In the last 30 mins. of cooking, when you remove the cover, it got dried out. I even added more tomato sauce, I stirred it in, to sauce it up a bit. There are a lot of rave reviews on this one, and I must say my kids enjoyed it, but I will not be making it again. I will go back to my good ol' standby, Cabbage Rolls. Just plain ol' average to me. Nothing to rave about here...

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Great recipe! Perfect for a cool, fall day... My family loved it! It made two large loaves. I sliced it while it was hot and spread softened cream cheese on the slice-- yummy! I am eager to see what it tastes like today!

Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2002
Great recipe! Very tasty, easy to prepare. My family loved it, including my children. The only thing was it took longer than 1hr. to cook through. So, if you are making it, plan on a longer cooking time. My french toast that I served it with was done a LONG time before my casserole, but all-in-all I would recommend it and will make it again. It would be great for a luncheon and/or a brunch also. It makes a large amount.

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2002
This recipe was just "okay". It does taste good, but it hard is enough batter to make a "cake" let alone what I consider a "coffee cake". It is not really a coffee cake, too small, but rather more like a regular cake, cake. If I made it again I would double the recipe, for sure.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2002
Great recipe! Very tasty, quick and easy preparation. I altered it a bit though.. I used ground turkey instead of beef. I used a regular ground turkey and a Mexican flavored ground turkey, both made by "The Turkey Store". I used fat free tortillas also, all to lower the fat content. It tasted great, and I think the Mexican spiced turkey complimented the dish VERY well! My whole family loved it. I will make it again. Thanks for sharing it~

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2002
... I am sorry. I have NO idea if I did something wrong, but I cook all the time, love to cook, and often get compliments on my cooking. Not to mention this recipe is SO simple, how could I mess it up... BUT, it was TERRIBLE! Also, we all LOVE vinegar, so I have no idea what went so horribly wrong here? I wont make it again though...

Creamy Artichoke Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2002
Great pasta dish! I sauteed chicken cubed chicken breast in olive oil until cooked through and tossed them in the pasta-- tasted even better! My family all loved it, including my kids as did my in-laws who were dining with us! I will definitely make it again. Also, we LOVE arthichoke hearts, my whole family, so I had a can of non-marnited hearts, I tossed in also, it was very good and we all enjoyed more artichoke hearts. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
