Awesome Egg Rolls

FABULOUS! We loved these! I didn't use shrimp, instead I add a tsp of fish sauce, and some chopped cooked chicken. Also, didn't have bean sprouts, I think this is a great basice recipe that you can cater to your family. Thanks for sharing!

Italian Bread Bowls

These tasted fabulous! I made a creamy chicken soup to go in them, and the bread bowls made the meal! Mine came out too flat, my husband called them bread plates, but it still worked. I need to figure out how to make them stay round.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

I loved the sauce for this, perfect amount of sweetness (not too sweet as I was afraid it would be), perfect amount of spicy. I gave it 4 stars since I didn't follow the rest of the recipe, only made the sauce and used it the same way over chicken enchiladas. I was really leary of the sauce after reading reviews, but I think if you live in an area where you dont' often get authentic Mexican food, you'll love it.

Zippy Summer Shrimp

Very easy to put together. I wanted more sauce for the pasta, so I added white wine as it was cooking. My children had never eaten shrimp, and this was a pretty easy recipe to ease them into it.

Hot Buffalo Chicken, Bacon, and Cheese Sandwich

5 Stars because my whole family (hubby and 4 kids!) devoured it! I made it just as described, but added sweet pickles to it after it was cooked. I also had plenty of chicken, so I made a few extras on hamburger buns, which we thought were better than the italian bread. The buns were soft and steamed. Very good, we will definitely make it again!

Broccoli and Sausage Cavatelli

LOVED IT! In fact my whole family loved it, with one very picky eater! I used whole wheat pasta and fresh broccoli. I put the red pepper flakes in with the evoo and garlic, and used a little more cheese. I couldn't believe how few ingredients this used, and was so simple, with such great results! Thank you tons!

Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Fun and simple, we really liked them leftover the next day even better. I didn't brown my meat, just mixed it all together (as suggested by other reviewers), and they came out great! My bread was a little crispier than I had hoped, but other than that, great! Oh..I don't like Lipton Onion Soup mix, so I used a different one (Garlic and Herb) and it worked out well.

Kay's Spaghetti and Lasagna Sauce

I thought this was a good starter recipe. I made it w/o meat, since we were having meatballs. I would use about 1TB of sugar next time....I am a 'more sugar is better' person (4 splendas in my coffee) and even for me, this was a little too sweet. I added salt to cut the sweetness, and that helped. I also threw in a few red pepper flakes. Very easy and good!

Double Decker Tacos

These were delicious! We eat tacos a lot, so I didn't think you could improve on the old favorites, but this really takes them up a level. I was afraid my kids wouldn't like the beans/meat, so I had some cooked chicken on hand to make chicken soft tacos..well, they gobbled these up! They didn't even realize they were eating beans. I like to add some fresh minced garlic to my guacamole, but other than that the recipe is perfect as is!

Rich Penne Pasta

I loved this dish, the rest of the family wasnt' crazy about it though, so I only gave it 4. I used cream instead of 1/2 n 1/2, spicy italian sausage, removed from casings so it was groud up. Used parmesan instead of cheddar. I thought it was restaurant quality and very easy to prepare!

Rasta Pasta

Delicous! I was skeptical about adding the sauce at the end, didn't want it to taste like chicken with jarred sauce, but all the steps in the recipe make it really stand out. I didn't use but about 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, and it was way too hot still, will omit that next time, so my kids can eat it better. They did love it though!!

Cookie Balls

I dipped mine in white chocolate and decorated them like eyeballs for Halloween! Great recipe, easy to make. Be sure to crush the cookies by hand not food processer...I've done that before and they weren't firm enough to make into balls.

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins I

I loved these! The edges that got a little too brown, were heavenly! Very moist and just delicious overall. We didn't do the glaze b/c my son doesn't like it, and they were still perfection!

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Very good recipe! These sort of reminded me of scones, b/c the batter wasnt' very sweet, but the chocolate chips made up for it. My picky daughter (who only eats the premade mix kind) loved them. Will keep this recipe!

Jenny's Grilled Chicken Breasts

My family LOVED it! I followed the recipe exactly, but let the coated chicken rest in the fridge for a couple of hours before grilling. The lemony flavor really came through, and even my kids gobbled it up. I tried it again, without letting it rest, and couldn't taste the lemon very much at all.
