Asian Style Country Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2013
This was a super easy recipe and was delicious! I decreased the brown sugar by half. I used garlic salt and ginger powder as I didn't have fresh. The taste of the sesame oil and rice vinegar supported the Asian style so don't substitute those. I didn't drain the liquid before cooking as the liquid just made the meat more juicy. Next time I would add double the Siracha for more kick. Served in soft taco's with shredded cabbage, mayo/Siracha sauce, cilantro and lime juice (my husband could not stop talking about how good they were). A keeper recipe.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
I used butter as I don't have shortening. The cookies came out great. I would half the salt as they were slightly salty as I used salted butter. They didn't come out as flat as others have made it sound. I also put my batter in the freezer for 5 minutes to solidify the butter back as another reviewer suggested. This is a keeper.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2012
I've been making this banana bread for years now. I willingly admit that I don't bake much and I'm not exactly 'precise', but this bread comes out great every time. That should tell you how easy and forgiving this recipe is. I cut the sugar in half and add more bananas. Sometimes I sprinkle chocolate chips on top for a little decadence. Thanks for the recipe.

Terrific Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
This recipe was super easy and super delicious, it's a nice base to a turkey chili recipe. Like the other reviews, I added a can of black beans and put everything in a slow cooker after browning the ground turkey with all the seasonings. There were things I did not added like the tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, zucchini and green chile peppers and it still came out delicious. People were coming back for thirds and asked for th recipe.

Pecan Pie IV

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
My first time making pecan pie. This recipe was super easy. I did decrease the brown sugar to 3/4 of a cup. The crust overbaked since when I pulled it out of the oven and "jiggle tested" the center, it still was too wiggly. But otherwise, I got huge compliments on the the pie, everyone thought it was delicious and loved that it was not as sweet as most pecan pies, this has now become my go to recipe for a new Thanksgiving tradition.

Greek Chicken Wrap

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
Loved this easy recipe. It was nice that I could prepare just about everything beforehand and then just combine everything right before serving. I did make a few changes though - I used my own marinade on the chicken (salt, cumin, garlic salt and johnny's magic seasoning), I added feta cheese as others recommended, and used low carb wraps. It was a hit! I'll make this again and again!

Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
I made a lowfat, carb friendly version using lowfat cottage cheese, low fat sour cream, half the shredded cheese (I could have used lowfat cheese instead) and low carb tortillas. I put frozen chicken breast in the slow cooker with an onion for 4 hours. My husband loved it and can't wait until I make it again.
