My name is Mike, I am happily married with no kids. I became interested in cooking when my parents split up and I either had to eat Dad's spaghetti or hot dogs or learn how to cook on my own. Through trial and error I figured out a few things and I genuinely began to enjoy cooking. That was over 20 years ago, I enjoy cooking now more than ever.

My cooking triumphs
My Wife and I have recently moved to Portugal. The house we moved into has a wood fired brick oven in the basement. After much reading and many failed attempts, I have mastered the perfect wood fired brick oven pizza.
