Creamy Chicken Pasta

this was a very good & easy, throw together dinner. we really enjoyed it. i made this awhile ago and if my memory serves me right, we used asparagus and fresh mushrooms. it was great. i think i would enjoy it just as much w/ any veggie mix, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, carrots, you name it! also great if you dont have alot of time! thanks!

Chicken Enchiladas II

this is great version of chicken enchilada's. it is a wonderful "left-over" chicken recipe too. i almost prefer the chicken to be shredded, like from your left over rotisserie, or bone in chicken. not the usual enchilada's i'm used to, but i really enjoyed the creamy mushroom sauce. will definitely be making this one again.

Easy Mexican Casserole

i thought this was great. i too used ground turkey and i also used black beans instead of chili beans. i had the fiesta tortilla chips that are multi-colored, so i crushed some chips over the top too, along w/ all the other toppings. it's appeal was as great as it's taste!

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

this is exactly what it says- Quick, and no to mention tasty! i have been making all kinds of chili in the slow cooker forever and in my opinion, it's the only way to make it! the smokey taste it gets from the cumin is delicious and i love putting black beans in my chili. definitely a keeper, thanks Laura!

this was actually pretty good and very simple. instead of frozen chicken breasts i used drummies and they worked wonderfully. a great duty-free recipe.

Chicken Veggie Casserole

after taking other reviewers' advice, this turned out quite tasty. as mention by another, i too used chicken stock and cream of mushroom, fresh herbs (basil was what i had) heavy pepper and hot sauce. a spinkle of cheese when done dosent hurt any! and i also tried the sweet cornbread and it was indeed a great compliment to this dish. oh, and cutting the potato's into small dice is a must for them to cook through in time.

Bacon Mushroom Swiss Meatloaf

i am giving 5 stars b/c i basically took this recipe, did my own thing and it turned out amazing! the best meatloaf i have ever had/made! i followed it for the most part except made it into a bacon cheddar meatloaf. im sure the mush/swiss is great and will make it that way in the future, but those i was cooking it for preferred i left the mushrooms out. so i saw that i had sharp cheddar on hand and just used that (kinda like a bacon cheddar cheeseburger!). served it w/ the cauliflower w/ dijon sauce recipe from here (omitting the mayo) and drizzled the dijon sauce over it all. yummmy!

Chicken Garlic Pizza

ok, i was really expecting this to be quite flavorful and to my surprise it wasnt as much as i thought? i used fresh garlic (always do) and even added crispy bacon, but was kinda bland, for my tastes anyway. maybe i will give it a 2nd chance and use more garlic and possibly a different/another kind of cheese like fresh mozz. it definitely looked amazing!

Pita Pizza

these are the absolute best little pizza's ever! i have been making pita pizza's for awhile and just love them. the pita flat breads make a great crust. i agree on toasting them in the over first for 1-2 min. you can do just about anything with these, a few of my fav's are BBQ chicken and caprese pizza's. very easy (and fun!) to make too!

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

very easy and delicious. perfect for a busy night and not much time to sit in the kitchen and cook. i used frozen bnls sknls chicken breasts. only took 3 1/2-4 hours on high, in a small slow cooker. watched it close so none of the chicken was exposed and so it wouldn't dry out. will make this again.

Barbecue Chicken Casserole

this was a little different, but ok. followed it all and could probably make some personal changes. like frying the chicken first. i used drummies instead of bnls sknls. bbq gave the chicken good flavor, but didnt' really dig the sauce/corn mixture. wouldnt use to top anything, just discard it.

Summer Lasagna

i did enjoy this recipe, but it does have its flaws. yes, it does turn out watery b/c of the veggies. i did try what one of the reviews had said about salting the zucchini to draw out the water. it worked, some, but ended up being a little too salty for me, even after rinsing and patting them dry. i really like the whole veggie idea rather than the pasta though. will probably try w/ eggplant next time.

Savory Tater Tot Casserole

i made this one for the guys and used their ground venison/pork mixture. couldnt even tell it wasnt beef. i browned the meat, mixed all ingredients together i pan. put mixture in baking dish, topped w/ some cheddar and tots. turned out pretty good. no exactly the healthiest, but the guys liked it! also, i used cream of mushroom instead. and actually the last time i made this i must have accidentally bought cream of celery, and it turned out just as good w/ that.
