Roquefort Pear Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
OMG!! this recipe is soooo goooood!! my sister-in-law and i made this for the first time the other night. we did change a few things, though. we did not use avacodo. instead of leaf lettuce, we used baby spinach and we don't like pears, so we substituted apples instead. we also used red onion instead of green onion. it turned out very yummy!! we had it for lujnch that day and loved it so much that we decided to fix it for dinner as well!! will definitely be making it again!!

French Onion Soup V

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2010
This soup was so yummy!! My husband loved it and said that this recipe was definitely a keeper!! I did make just a few minor changes. I took the advice of others, and did not add the extra water, but did add a little bit extra beef broth. I also only used 3 onions instead of 4.

this recipes is soooo yummy!! i did make a few changes, though. i sauteed some garlic and onion in with the butter and olive oil, then added the chicken. after the chicken was about done, i added 1/4 cup sherry and then 3/4 cup marsala cooking wine. once everything is done, i put it over angel hair pasta and then top with fresh parmasean. yummy!!!

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2010
absolutely love this recipe!! i do omit the onions and celery, as per other comments. i use 3 cloves of minced garlic instead of garlic powder. i also use two packets of the brown gravy mix, and add 1 cup of beef broth. i cook red potatoes tossed with olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary right in the dish with the tenderloin. my hubby said this is a keeper and a dish to serve when we have company!!

Penne Pasta with Cannellini Beans and Escarole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
Such a yummy recipe!! I, like many of the others, also sautéed some garlic in olive oil. And instead of using canned tomatoes, i cut up some tomatoes, tossed them with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and then roasted them in the oven. the tomatoes had such a delicious flavor and tossed with everything else, came our great!!
