Creamy Sweet Potato With Ginger Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
Added curry and cumin. LOVED This! I make it quite often changing up ingredents. All in the ways, they still all turn out fabulous. I do cook potatoes night before in oven or mic to speed the process.

Loved this! Since come of the mixture from inside oozed out, we spooned it on top. Now we decided to do add topping every time.

Barlow's Blackened Catfish

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2009
My husband loved this! I made it pretty much to the recipe except: for cayanne amount I used 1/2 chili powder, 1/2 cayanne to lessen the bite. Also, upon another reviewer's suggestion, I used oil instead of butter and topped with dijon mustard after dressing for an extra zing. It was great!!

Tomato Mozzarella Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
Loved this. Easy to make. Like others I added Balsamic and onions. I also added bow tie pasta, and used fresh mozerella in a chunk salad like dish (not slices). I stirred in sundried tomato olive oil with the pasta before mixing with tomatoes. Big hit!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
Wow. I had no idea this would be such a hit. I went on a limb and made this over Christmas. Everyone wanted the recipe. The only thing I did different was use 1 can of soup (just because I read it wrong) and it turned out so good, I hate to try 2 cans.

Ham Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
I had Christmas leftovers and tried this recipe to get rid of them. Everyone raved about it and wanted the recipe. I have made it over and over again since then. My adjustments: as said, cut way back on rosemary and add pepper. Also, one key thing I did was used lots of homemade mashed potatoes (boiled, mashed, buttered) instead of chuncks. It was creamy and very good texture. I have tried adding green beans, using turkey bacon, using non dairy coffee creamer instad of cream.. you name it! No matter what, it is always a hit. Key note: it is better the longer it sits. I make it and let it sit in the fridge overnight. I just used it for gravy over biscuits this morning. So many options.

Korean BBQ Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
I have made this recipe dozens of times and dozen ways. It is so good as is, or with some added garlic. The thing I recommend is to cut the meat into chunks for better flavor. I have tried this with half artifical sweetner (like splenda) and it is great! My highest recommend would to make kabobs on outdoor grill. Nothing beats the flavor and texture with this marinade.
