My cooking tragedies
The first time I tried making flan, I was using the 'pan within a pan' method and water flowed into the flan pan and completely ruined it! I'll admit it, I cried. Now I have pans with handles, which not only makes getting items out of the oven easier, it means the flan pan won't be floating in water! HA!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II
This is the best! I didn't have meat hammer (hahah what I call it) and I was lucky that pollo milanesa was on sale at my down the street latino market. This is thin sliced chicken breast. So all I had to do was roll it up with some lunch meat ham and cheese and it was GOOD TO GO! The sauce is incredibly flavorful and I would recommend making extra. It tastes so good on mashed potatoes! I really couldn't believe how easy and tasty this recipe is. I can even make just one serving for myself quickly. A real winner this one!

Claire's Yummy Crepes
OMG So easy and delicious! I added a 1/4tsp of vanilla extract like many recommended and it was perfect! I also used Silk Pure Coconut Milk (original flavor) since I don't drink regular milk and it was AMAZING!! A bit thick, so I might add a little more milk next time, but the crepes themselves put IHOP to SHAME!! Thanks for the amazing recipe!!! I ate the first one while I was cooking them (had to sample the product, lol!) and I had the hardest time not eating them as they were coming off the pan. I made about 10 6-7in" crepes and at first used a bit of butter to coat the pan but then did without for the last 3 and they came out fine. Had mine with nutella only on two and whipped creme on another two and I'll save the others for breakfast tomorrow! Now I want to get some lingonberry jelly for Swedish crepes!! *drool*

French Toast II
I'll be honest, I didn't even READ the directions. I've made french toast before, so I just wanted to see what else besides egg and milk you could use. This was DELICIOUS!! Since I made it just for myself, I used 2 eggs, just under 1/4 cup milk, probably 1/2 tbl of brown sugar and two shakes of cinnamon (I didn't measure the milk, sugar, or cinnamon, just what seemed right). I didn't have any nutmeg, but it tasted great with a bit of maple sryup. Oh, I also cut two big slices of Chullah bread -mmMMMMmmm.... Will definitely be using these ingredients from now on.
