Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2012
Awesome bread. Made with 1/4 oil and 1/4 unsweetened applesauce. I added some cinnamon and a pinch or two of sugar for the top. So so so delicious. My toddler, one year old and husband loved it too.

Grandma's Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
Loved it. Along with recommended vegetables I used a can of black bean soup and drained some liquid, half a can of baked beans with brown sugar, 1 can diced tomato with green chiles and 1 without. I omitted the celery and italian seasonings and added 1 tablespoon chili powder and 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper. I cooked on low for 6 hours and ended up adding tomato paste to thicken. Delicious. Served with whole grain chips and cheese. Yum!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
I mad these for a dinner party and will NEVER make boxed brownies again! My husband was raving about them. I had some leftover homemade frosting that I drizzled on top and it was a perfect touch. I cooked for 35 minutes because I really like my brownies soft and like other users I used half white half brown sugar. Next time I want to try caramel pieces and drizzle with caramel sauce. Yum!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
I never thought to put a whole chicken in the slow cooker. We were snowed in today so I thought I would try it. I liked the idea of previous users of putting some chicken broth in but we didn't have any so we used beef broth. I put about a cup in with diced celery, potatoes, and onion strips. I also added salt, pepper, garlic salt, and poultry magic into the cooker. I rubbed butter and seasoning all over the chicken as well as stuffing the inside with some of the veggies. I turned it once while cooking. Cooked it on high for 5 hours and it was so delicious! The chicken fell right off the bone and the vegetables were amazing! Great recipe for a winter day!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
We loved this recipe! I cooked the chicken while steaming the veggies (broccoli, carrots, and celery). It was my first time making a gravy. I didn't have celery seed so I added a tablespoon of poultry magic. Delicious! We will make this one again!

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
This is EXACT! My fiance orders 3 bowls when we go to Olive Garden and we have been searching for a great recipe that we can me at home. This is IT! Only differences we had were that we used hot sausage so we didn't need the pepper flakes and we like to use kale vs. spinach. Thank You!
