Ultimate Baked French Fries

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2014
Delicious! I used evoo instead of the veg oil, some dried basil b/c I didn't have fresh on hand and I may have used a bit more cheese than called for (I used freshly grated). These crisped up nicely and had wonderful flavor. I will be making these again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Hawaiian Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2014
I thought this was delicious! I used a can of sweet potatoes that I had on hand and pineapple tidbits. I used less sweet potatoes than called for, so I just eyeballed everything else according to taste. Great flavor...I would make this again, for sure~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

All-American Here's The Beef Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2014
WOW! I've never ground my own beef for burgers, but with it being such a beautiful day today (finally!), I wanted to try something special. These were simple enough to make and you could really taste the difference in the meat. We loved the sauce and just everything about this burger was an absolute hit! I will def be making these again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Football Spread

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2014
This was soooo good! I was skeptical, yet intrigued, so I just had to try this...We tried it both warm and cold, and enjoyed it both ways. I did use some regular hot sauce in place of the non vinegar based, b/c I couldn't find it, but just used the regular to taste. Also, I had some fresh cooked chicken breast, so I used that in place of the canned. I happened to have the chicken flavored ramen on hand, but I can't wait to try it w/ the beef flavored. Bd., Thanks for sharing this deliciously different recipe! :)

Baked Potato Latkes

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2014
For as simple as the ingredients sound, these were delicious! I did use leftover mashed potatoes that were mashed w/ butter, milk and s&p, so I had to add a bit more flour. These were super flavorful with a nice, crisp outside, and creamy goodness inside. I made these smaller than called for so the kids wouldn't have a hard time handling them. I will def be making these again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Oven-Roasted Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2014
Delicious! I did not measure any of the ingredients, just sort of eyeballed it. Also, to keep clean up at a minimum, I lined my baking sheet w/ foil and just mixed everything up right on the sheet and baked...easy peasy! I will def be making these often~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Amazing Muffin Cups

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2014
These were very good! I do have to agree w/ those that said the hash browns didn't crisp up enough, and also some of mine stuck a bit in the pan. The kids liked the sausage 'surprise' in the middle. All in all, these were simple to make and the family really enjoyed them! Thanks for sharing. :)

Simple Pina Colada Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2014
Made this for Recipe Group...Delicious! I cut the pineapple chunks so the kids could eat them easily and cut the rum extract in 1/2, which was perfect for us. Mine only needed 20 minutes to bake, so keep an eye on them. Oh, and I got 16 muffins out of the recipe. Moist and flavorful, these are a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Chunky Red Sauce with Ground Italian Sausage

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2014
DELICIOUS! I did not use the zucchini or the tomato paste, as I felt it was thick enough. Oh, and I wasn't sure what an 'Italian sweet pepper' was (maybe a banana pepper?), so I just used some red pepper, and that was fine. Great flavor, hearty and absolutely yummy. This was a HUGE hit with the whole family...A definite keeper! Thanks for sharing. :)

Pittsburgh Style Sandwich

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2014
Being from Pittsburgh, this sandwich is a staple. This is a great play on it too! I used a sausage patty made from Johnsonville hot Italian sausage instead of lunch meat, and I have to say that it was fantastic! I agree w/ others that said it doesn't matter what kind of slaw you use (it's not specified in the recipe which to use, so use what you like), this is one tasty sandwich~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Asparagus Roll Ups

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2014
Made this for Recipe Group...These were good! My asparagus were thin, so they got a bit overcooked, but they were still tasty. I especially liked the bread and cream cheese filling. These were very easy to make and something different...I would probably make these again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Chef John's Homemade Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2014
Delicious! I packed mine firmly into a ramekin, so I came out w/ a pretty firm cheese that had a slight tang to it that we loved. I served it drizzled w/ evoo and cracked black pepper, as suggested by chef John and spread it over lightly toasted baguette. This did not remind me of ricotta, but sort of a mild feta, which really appealed to my ricotta hating, feta loving hubby. So simple and VERY tasty...a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Delicious Spaghetti Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2014
I have to admit that I was nervous to try this recipe b/c it really didn't seem like something that I would like, but my little guy asked if we could try it, so I said ok. The kids LOVED it and I thought it was good. Hubby liked it, but said it was 'weird', whatever that means, lol. I did omit the ground beef only b/c it's Friday during lent and we don't eat meat on these days. This was very easy to make and baked up and cut beautifully. I didn't use the whole 8oz. of spaghetti b/c it seemed to be too much for the dough. I would make this again for the kids! Thanks for sharing. :)

Sweet Coconut Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2014
We LOVED this! I only used the teaspoon of sugar called for b/c I didn't want it too sweet, and that was perfect, so if you want it SWEET def add more sugar. I liked the addition of the coconut sprinkled on top, which also gave some sweetness to the rice, so keep that in mind as well if you plan on using it. I added some salt, but that was per my own preference. Oh, and I used Jasmine rice, which was wonderful in this. I would def be making this again~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Orzo with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Kalamata Olives

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
Delicious! I made this to serve cold for lunch today, and it really hit the spot. I used homemade pesto and black olives in place of the kalamata b/c I didn't have any. Full of flavor! This would go great w/ chicken, which is what I'm planning on making with next time. A definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)

Chicken Club Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2014
Made this for Recipe Group...We LOVED this salad! I used a 12oz. box of tri-color rotini, and omitted the celery. I used all of the other ingredients, but sort of eye-balled them to taste. The whole family gobbled this up...a definite keeper~YUM! Thanks for sharing. :)
