Lemon Blueberry Bread

very easy! Loved the flavour. Next time I will use less of the sugar/lemon on top-very sweet. Also, I will flour my berries to help them from sinking.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
Super great! I quadrupled the recipe so I would have some on hand. I accidentally put 1 TBSP of garli instead of 1 TSP!! But i dont mind garlic so it was fine. Next time i will make sure i do it right! Very good in taco meat with a little water.

Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
AMAZING! This is the best apple cake ever! I did make a couple changes. I used only 3/4c of oil..but subbed 1/2c for applesauce. I also used the suggestion of 2/3c white sugar, 2/3 c brown sugar. I also had to bake it for nearly 50mins before the bottom of the cake cooked. But even if it hadn't it wouldve still tasted amazing!

So super yummy! I followed earlier reviews and sprinkled cinnamon ontop of apples, and into crumb mixture. I baked at 375 for 45 mins. I used gala apples and it came out perfect. I also cut the water to 1/4 cup.

Slow Cooker Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2011
SOOO GOOD! And so easy. I did a few changes. I used cheddar cheese (i think any cheese would do), I browned the beef with onion, garlic, S&P. I mixed the soup and sauce with the beef. I cooked mine in the oven at 375 for 30mins. I layered like this: 1/2 the noodles, 1/2 the sauce/meat, 1/2 the cheese, repeat. It was so hearty, my husband said it was the best pizza casserole ever!!And it actually tasted like pizza!

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
super yummy!! Very moist and just the right amount of sweet! I replaced the oil with applesauce, and white sugar for brown sugar. I found the crumble topping just absorbed into the batter, didnt make a swirl. But it tasted great anyway!

Baked Ziti II

very easy and quick recipe! I found it very cheesy, and heavy. I suggest less ricotta cheese. There also wasnt much flavour, and i had added italian seasoning. I would add pepper flakes for some taste. otherwise very filling.

Best pancake recipe ever!! This will be my go-to recipe from now on! I only had 2 eggs on hand, and they came out perfect! I made small pancakes and got over 20!! My husband found them very filling, and my 8 month old loved them! I took advice of one review and doubled the brown sugar, but i still added maple syrup!!

Very tasty! Very yummy, and soft! I added 3tbsp of flour in the hopes that they wouldnt fall apart, too badly. I also let them sit in the oven for a couple minustes (oven off). then let them completely cool before i cut them! Great snack to take on the go! I plan on freezing some and taking them as snacks when the family is out and about!

Chocolate Chip Cookies - The BEST!!

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2011
I made one batch, there was too much sugar not enough oats..the spread too thin and just became one large gooey cookie!! I tried a 2nd batch lessened the sugar added more oats, and even some flour, to bind them. I also had to form them into about 1/2" balls. They still flattened but werent as bad.

Pizza Casserole

This is a great base recipe. Next time I will add some seasoning to the sauce - chili flakes, cumin. I might try this with pork or italian sausage, instead of hamburg, just for more flavour. Definate win with my husband!
