Self-Filled Cupcakes I

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
GOOD NIGHT!! These little things are good! I followed the recipe to a "T" & it turned out great! Made exactly 24 with no left over batter or filling. My filling seemed runny but it baked up just fine. I wasn't going to add the chips, but I'm glad I did. They were like chocolate lava in the cream cheese filling. Fill a gallon ziplock baggie with the batter for an easy way to accurately fill the cups. And remember... never fill the cup to the top!

Fettuccine Alfredo with Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
I wish I would have diced the ham smaller. I thought the amount of ham the recipe called for was conservitive until I dished it out to the family. 6oz. of ham was just right for our two big eaters and two small eaters. Also took another reviewers advice & made it all in the same pot (after placing the pasta in the strainer)

Ham Ballz

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
Had my doubts while putting this together, but it tasted great! I was worried about the 2/3 cup vinegar ruining the whole recipe, but I went ahead & followed the sauce recipe to a "T" and it was delish! Wouldn't change a thing & will make it again.

Crunchy Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
Followed the recipe but used whatever I had in such as cream of asparagus soup, ground turkey, Colby cheese and soy sauce instead of worcestershire. Still turned out great!

We all loved it! I used eight fresh peaches without adding any liquid. It turned out just right.

Lasagna Alfredo

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2006
I used less ricotta (24oz) & it turned out fine. I added onion salt, garlic powder, & a touch of italian seasoning to the ricotta/spinach mixture... it'll really need it. Make sure the noodles on the top layer aren't bare in any areas, they'll dry out. We loved it & we'll make it again.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Turned out rather hard. Gave it four stars for the nice flavor. Maybe next time I'll flatten the balls of dough & shorten the cook time.

Peach Cobbler VI

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2006
Used an 8x8 pan and had to cook it 15 to 20 minutes longer before it was firm in the middle. Everybody had a second helping!

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
By golly, it worked! Had my doubts with only three ingredients. I made mine small (2 bites) and got 35 cookies out of one batch! I also baked them 2 minutes longer than suggested. It's a keeper!

Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
Wonderful! I made 8 individual pies by using four store bought crusts. Guests couldn't stop raving! A lot of work, but a nice way to use leftovers.

Kielbasa Pasta Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
My husband and little ones approved, that's what counts! I wasn't sure if I should drain the stewed tomatoes, but I did & it was fine. This recipe makes WAY more than will fit in a 9x13. I made an extra 9x9 pan to freeze.

Whiz Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
This realy didn't work as a main dish. Maybe a snack. It was more dough than meat. I'd definitely suggest using hot or mild sausage. Regular ground pork was too bland.

Sauce was yummy but the meat was VERY dry! Might try this with bone-in chops. A little fat might help.

I didn't know what to expect, but what a surprise! My family loved it! It's a keeper! Left out the salsa by mistake and it was still great. Stacy

A good base, but you really need to add frozen peas & carrots or something. I'd make it again.
