I LOVE MAKING APPERTISERS. IT WETS THE TASTEBUDS FOR WHAT'S IN STORE FOR THE REST OF THE MEAL.
My favorite family cooking traditions
CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER!! THIS IS MY GIFT TO MY FAMILY. IT'S HOT HERE AT CHRISTMAS TIME SO I USUALLY HAVE COLD MEAT AND SALAD. FOR APPERTSERS WE HAVE CHEESE LOG, LAYERED DIP AND TORTLLA PINWHEELS. THIS IS FOLLOWED BY MAIN COURSE WHICH IS NORMALLY, PRAWNS WITH AVOCADO SAUCE, HONEY BAKED HAM, CRANBERRY/MACADAMIA STUFFED CHICKEN, PASTA/POTATO/TOSSED SALAD. THEN DESERT OF CHOC-MINT CHEESECAKE, CHOCOLATE TART PLUM PUDDING AND ICE CREAM FOLLOWED BY TEA/COFFEE AND VARIOUS HOMEMADE TRUFFLES!!

I MADE JAY'S SIGNATURE PIZZA CRUST FROM THIS SITE ON MY NEW PIZZA STONE. THAT GAVE ME A LITTLE THILL. IT CAME OUT PERFECTLY.
My cooking tragedies
EXTREMELY HOT CHILLI. I COULDN'T EAT IT. MY HUSBAND AND ONE OF HIS MATES THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT THOUGH. THEY ATE THE LOT ALTHOUGH THEY DID HAVE SWEAT BEADING FROM THE HEAT OF IT
