Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2008
Brought this to a Super Bowl Party and it was very popular. However, I found that the crock pot was not necessary and preferred to add a little more hot sauce. An extra can of chicken could be beneficial in making a thicker dip. Very good!

Tequila Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2008
These shrimp were very tasty, however, we added lime juice to the tequila and would marinate the shrimp for at least a half-hour prior in the future to really give them a taste.

Fresh Tomato Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2008
We used one serrano and it had a nice little kick to it - 5 would be a bit excessive in my opinion. I have made this several times since the first attempt and it's always very pleasing. Also, we usually use a shallot instead of an onion.

Caroline and Brian's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
We cooked the sausage with the garlic and the breadcrumbs in the pan and didn't "rest" the mixture before mixing it with the cream cheese and parmesan. We also omitted the cayenne so that it wouldn't overpower the taste of the mushrooms. Additionally, we only cooked them for 12 minutes. It was VERY tasty!

Old Bay® Shrimp Fest

Reviewed: May 30, 2008
We used the four-person serving size but maintained the sane amount of liquid to make sure that it wouldn't dry out. However, it's fairly safe to say that serves four actually serves six. We cut three minutes off of the potato cook time and they were still too soft. Maybe take away another two? Very tasty.

Mushroom and Swiss Chicken

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
We thought it would be a good idea to add the mushrooms earlier because they weren't quite cooked as well as we had hoped for by the time the whole thing came out of the oven. We might use a little more of the Cajun seasoning next time as well.

Cilantro-Lime Rice

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
We used a rice steamer instead and omitted the chicken bouillon (I didn't know how I felt about the chicken flavor) - very tasty! It went perfect with our Tequila Lime Shrimp!

LuvAnn's Guacamole

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
We doubled everything except for the onion (which we halved) and the tomato. Very easy to make and great to bring to parties!
