I am a ceramic artist green bean cassarole pork chops meatballs- When i first got married my landlord went away for the week, so i planned to cook a romantic dinner for my new husband, he's not a vegitarian and i am, i never really cooked meat before, and i decided to make meatballs. I thought the best way to do this was to fry them in a pan. We were living in a basement apartment and the entire place filled with smoke. The fire alarm went off as I was setting all the food on the table and we didn't have access to the main alarm, so the fire department came. There were about 5 trucks coming and a plate full of black meatballs on the table. Luckily the firemen had a thought it was funny and so did my vacationing landlord.
