I followed the recipe word for word. It came out just ok. It was, IMO, was blah and boring with not much flavor.

Quinoa with Chicken, Asparagus and Red Peppers

This was really good with a few add-ins, suggested by other reviewers. I added sauteed onion, garlic, basil and oregano. I also coooked the quinoa in chicken broth. I'll definitely make this again.

Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
This is an excellent recipe. Following a few other reviewers I changed the oil to coconut and added blueberries. Its extremely simple to make and tastes incredible. I didnt have flaxseed so I used chia seeds instead. I baked mine at 200 degrees for 45 minutes and it was still kind of soft. I left it overnight to see if it would get crunchy, it didnt. In the morning, with the trays already in the oven, I turned it on for 15 minutes at 300 degrees. Again I let it completely cool and it is very crunchy with brown crispy goodness all around it. Amazing!

Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2008
This was fantastic! Perfectly crispy and still juicy on the inside. The gravy is a lot like my usual gravy, but with the addition of the chicken broth. I think it made it a lot better than what I've been doing. Excellent!!! This is the go to recipe for me.

This were so quick and easy to make and look like some real work went into making them. Took reviewers suggestion and used butter instead of oil. Tasted a lot like Olive Garden bread sticks. Very good!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
This is a really simple recipe without all the time and effort that it takes traditionally. Following other reviewers I add chicken broth instead of water. I also added salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. I replaced the diced onion with onion powder and added frozen vegetables. I also only used 1 can of bisquits, rolling them out and slicing them like noodles. It only took a few extra minutes to make these changes, which I think really added a lot.

Couldnt wait for breakfast to try this so my husband and I had it for dessert tonight. Followed others and used a bundt pan and used a plate to flip over during the cooling period. It was very good. We managed to save half for breakfast tomorrow.

Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
This was incredible!! Tasted just like my favorite restaurant in town. I followed the recipe exactly. Heated up Classicos Spicy Tomato & Pesto, putting a couple of tablespoons on top of chicken with slice of mozzarella on top of that. Put under broiler until cheese melted and served with spaghetti and more of the spaghetti sauce. Will definitely make this again!!!!!

This was so easy to make! I didnt have any lemon extract so followed other reviewers and used 1 tbsp lemon and the zest of 1 lemon. This was by far the quickest cookie Ive ever made. Mine werent done in 9 min. I think I left in for 12. Reminds me of the lemon coolers I used to eat as a kid. YUM!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2008
These were pretty good. Not the best I've had. I think I'll stick to the recipe on the back of the choc.chips. I loved the amount of chocolate chips that were added but were turning hard by the next day even though I had them in a ziplock bag. Taste better if you plan on eating right away.

I didnt use bread flour, forgot to let it rise the 2nd time and also forgot to do the egg wash and it still turned out incredible!!! I cant wait to do it correctly, lol. We absolutely loved our extra large bread sticks. They had a nice crisp outside and a wonderful soft inside. Will definitely be making these over and over!!!
